Home sits on large lot with plenty of parking. Private family vacation home for 50 years to the same owners. Wrap-around deck. All fenced and gated. Large, 2-level home. Central heating and air. Big screen TV w/Directv, WiFi. Located in the Shasta-Trinity National Forest offering great activities such as boating, wake boarding, water- & jet skiing, swimming, hiking, biking, fishing or relaxing. Shasta Dam, and all of its wonders, is 15 minutes by boat or 20 minutes by auto. The Shasta Caverns are accessible by boat. Dog Creek & the Sacramento River are great for rafting or gold-panning with its sandy beaches and clear water. Shasta Lake waterfront homes are the place to be over the hot summers. All you need is a big hat, sun block, and swim wear. Enjoy a great vacation, as we have for over 50 years.

Lake House That Has it All!

We spent 4 days at this Amazing home with 2 families! There were 10 of us and we had plenty of room to spread out, we’re never bored with every amenity you could think of, pool, hot tub, corn hole, horse shoes, dart board, pool table, BBQ and more. The kitchen it stocked with anything you might need! Lonnie was always responsive and a great host! We are already planning our trip next summer with our boats!

Annual Family Lake Trip

The lake house was perfect for our family of 8 adults. Plenty of room to spread out. We loved sitting on the deck enjoying the view.

Wonderful stay in Shasta

The pictures of this property do not do it justice. This vacation home is one of the most well equip and beautiful homes my family has ever stayed. The rooms were very nice. The pool is very large with a nice deep end to it. The hot tub is great. The outdoor grill was huge and worked amazing. The seating outside on patio was very nice as we spent most of the time outside, it was nice to have so much seating. The area was so quiet and peaceful. The lake had dropped significantly when arrive, but were still able to make quick hike down to it from the backyard gate and enjoy the lake. There is a place close by to rent jetskis or boats. we brought lots for floats and rafts to use in the lake. There is a small grocery store near the place that has nearly everything you need, but it's a bit pricey. We drove to Redding (25 min) to go do large grocery shopping. The owner Lonnie was great and very helpful. This is the perfect place to have large family or friend getaway.

Family-built home provides wonderful vacation memories. Husband/Wife proprietors raised in northern California who raised their family here and would love to share it.

Why they chose this property

A beautiful family vacation house. Perfect as a family get-a-way or couples retreat. Secluded in the mountains among tall pines, sitting on one of California's largest reservoir lakes, that include cool caverns (after a patio-boat ride across the lake and a short bus ride!), sun-set cruise dinners done by a local business, swimming, fishing, hiking, Shasta Dam, many, many places to explore, yet not too far from the the city of Redding.

What makes this property unique

4 large bedrooms / three full baths / rec room / two living rooms / laundry room / fenced yard / parking for ten cars or a boat or RV/ On a cove, steps to the lake from house when lake is full / wrap-around large deck / private pool and hot tub / secluded one acre lot / barbecue / at end of street / fishing, hiking, biking, bird watching (maybe see an eagle!), swimming, boating / 22 miles north of Redding for shopping or dinning / 30 miles south of Mt.Shasta with it's winter sports, quaint shops & dinning and mysticism!
