Singing birds, pine trees, and a great view of the mountains and lake.. That is what this home is all about. There is a great BBQ and a wood burning stove out on the deck for entertaining at night. The kitchen is fully stocked for those who like to cook. The house has cable TV. NO WiFi. The house sits on the side of the hill on 2.5 acres with pine trees and slick rocks. Great place for kids. You are in hiking distance from a creek and a small swimming hole seasonal Or 11 minutes to the lake and river by car. The 100 giants are 1 hr away and 15 minutes from the hot springs. However, most people find it so relaxing that they stay at the house most of the time. This location has amazing dirt bike ridding, mountain biking, hiking right from the house. River and lake 11 minutes away. Please keep food put away. Dog food must be kept in sealed containers. Camera facing parking area.

One of the most memorable vacations I have had in a long time

"Wow!" is all I can say. Before this trip, I'd never even heard of Lake Isabella, much less the Isabella Highlands. But I must say this is one of the most memorable vacations I've had in a long time. The view is indescribable, and the vista from the porch/nearby public streets is otherworldly. We were able to find a lot of good hiking, rock climbing, off-roading, and places to stick our feet in the lake all within an hours' drive of the property. The Vons supermarket 10 minutes away from the house was a lifesaver too.

Great lil Property

Very clean. True to listing. Unlike some vacation rentals that are spartan in what they provide. This property had everything we needed. The owner responded immediately when I had a question. For those that need wifi- the name and password are on the box under the t.v. Wifi and att and verizon phone signal were great. Great mountain bike trails around unit.
