I live in N. Ireland with my husband and have been letting property since 1976. I lived in London before I married so it's always a good excuse to come back when reletting the apartment. I have twin girls of 33 - Claire is married and teaches A level maths. Kate is also married and is a primary school teacher. Prior to this she pioneered a charity in Uganda for the last 5 years sponsoring street children called Tomorow's Heros now renamed Freedom Heroes.
Julie purchased this Apartment in 2007
Why Julie chose Kensington and Chelsea
I love this property because of the location as it is just so close to everything and has a real buzz to the area. It feels very light and airy. I also still have friends in this area.
What makes this Apartment unique
It is much quieter than most London flats as it's a REAR lower ground floor flat and not underneath the building. That is why it's so light because it is not in the basement as such. This can be seen in the photos.

Brilliant location, clean and plenty of space. Close to train, bus and easy to walk to Museums and Hyde Park.
Thanks Vanessa for the great review, really appreciate it.
Great location, not perfect flat
Greatest location. Near tube. Walkable to Kensington. Nice area
Basement flat. Dingy entrance and hallway.
Adequate kitchen. Smelly dryer room.
Nicely decorated bathroom but no ventilation. Always damp in bathroom
First trip to London
We enjoyed our stay very much. We had everything we needed, and if we didn't, Waitrose was very close by. The apartment provided comfortable and quiet nights of sleep. We were close to the tube station which easily got us to many sights, tours, and restaurants. We will definitely stay here the next time we come to London.
Perfect for our trip!
My family came in for a brief 3-day for a wedding in Chelsea. Wonderful location..walking distance from shops, restaurants, and Kensington Gardens. Ample space and laundry was a plus, as this was the middle of two week trip.
Also, Julie, the property manager, answered any email inquiries very quickly
Great stay in London with kids!
We loved our time in London and enjoyed our stay in this flat for a number of reasons:
1. Location is simply the best. Circle and District lines took us quickly where we needed to go - no need to change lines, which saves you time and steps)) Grocery stores nearby make it easy to buy all necessary items for a family of 4 and save on breakfast and sandwiches. Kensington Palace and Hyde Park are a walking distance (11, and 5 year olds managed the walks fine). Both have wonderful playgrounds for kids.
2. Apartment is bright (lost of skylights), everything is working well and in great condition. We did visit the private garden a couple of times, and really enjoyed it.
3. Neighborhood is nice, and Julie recommended a couple of good restaurants. Damario (Italian) was definitely our favourite.
Once small comment is to agree with others on the towel refresh. Simple new white towels would make a difference.
Thank you Julie!
Only a few minutes walk to the train station & the shops. The down stairs apartment was comfortable with the only windows being ceiling windows.
