Say yes to this cottage located on a large, grassy lot at the end of a private, dead end road bordering the Rachel Carson Wildlife Sanctuary. Spectacular views of the sanctuary on three sides and only a short walk to the beach.
(Note...the cottage is at Wells Beach and not on Route 1, therefore, a short walk is a short walk.)
A waterway from the estuary borders the property, allowing guests to launch small boats, kayaks or canoes only a few feet from the front door. The cottage is ideal for anyone who places a premium on privacy, quiet, and nostalgia but still has amenities like cable TV, internet and a brand new shower.

Each cottage has a large deck and plenty of room for parking.

Great Little Wells Cottage with Beautiful Location

Cute little cottage has a beautiful setting. We checked in and were greeted by an amazing sunset over the estuary. Short walk to the beach. (Do check the tide table as there may not be any beach at high tide). Kayaking right from our backyard was amazing. Also nice to be able to borrow some body boards, beach toys and a wagon to tow them to the beach. Owner was very quick to respond to any questions and accommodate any requests if possible. Not especially clean, if that is a concern, but also no cleaning fee added. I would definitely recommend it.

Beautiful Views

The views of the marsh cannot be beat! You instantly feel relaxed as you pull into the property. The chairs overlooking the marsh are a nice touch and a great place to enjoy your morning coffee.

Rustic Beauty

Janine's cabin is located in a beautiful surrounding with the necessary essentials. The cabin was just enough for our family of 4 (two adults, two kids). I'm a city gal, so this is my version of "camping," (yes, my version of camping includes wifi and streaming TV!) and it was exactly what I wanted in my vacation. Overlooking a tidal marsh, our mornings were peaceful and the sunsets were gorgeous. When you open the screened-in porch windows, the cabin filled with a soft breeze, and I loved that inside/outside feeling. There is also an A/C unit, but we didn't need to use it. The beach is a short walk and Janine provides wagons to bring beach gear. We kayaked almost every day. Important to note about this location -- the sun rose around 4am each morning and set around 9pm in the summer, something I loved and wasn't expecting (The bedroom was cool and dark, though). Also, I appreciate that Janine doesn't charge a cleaning fee, so the check-out instructions include a light cleaning. Since the cabin is cozy, it took no time at all. We were really happy to spend our vacation at Soleil!

Wonderful cozy cabin in a perfect location!

Soleil is a wonderful, cozy cabin at the end of a quiet street facing an estuary - you are a block from the beach (and it's a fabulous beach!) and all that has to offier, but you have peace and tranquilty at the property. There are several restuarants in walking distance. On this trip it was me, my husband, and our dog - she loved the loacation and the beach as much as we did. Although the cabin can sleep four, I think four adults may be a bit tight - it is perfect for a couple plus kids. The property has two other cabins that would be perfect if you wanted a whole family get together where everyone could have their own space. Will definitely be back! Highly recommended!
