About Owner
Our family loves PRAGUE! We travel frequently, but we think that this is the BEST CITY in the WORLD! We would like to share this special place with you - it is truly in the most magical location! We hope that you will enjoy it as much as we do!!

Why Owner chose Prague 1
The location is magical.... the property is unique as there are only a few apartments right next to the Prague Castle. We first experienced the uniqueness of this location while visiting a friend living in this building. It cannot be described, it has to be experienced! The proximity of the Prague Castle, the surrounding palaces and historical buildings and the quiet romantic atmosphere create truly a magical experience.
What makes this Apartment unique
The location is magical – especially in the morning and at night. In the morning, you can hear the beautiful sound of the Loreto bells... take a morning walk to soak up the atmosphere available only to you as there are no hotels in the immediate vicinity, no tourists around until later in the day... Take a few steps to the Prague Castle, to the lookout where you will see the roofs of the Lesser Town (Mala Strana), the Charles Bridge, the hundreds of Towers, the Old Town... Or you can go down the historic Town Hall Steps (Radnicke schody) leading to the picturesque Nerudova street with many restaurants, cafes, galleries and boutiques. In the evening have a romantic dinner at one of the great restaurants in the neighborhood, then walk in the soft light of the old street lamps back to the quiet Loretanska street and the apartment.

Wonderful Stay in an Ideal Locale
We were extremely pleased with this property. The location in the Prague Castle neighborhood was a romantic cobblestone and lamplight area for a November stay. Safe, clean, and convenient with one of the best views of the city at the bottom of the block. We loved being able to use the kitchenette and clean our clothes in-house for our month-long stay. We also enjoyed the recommended cafe just up the street for atmosphere and good czech food. Additionally, the studio was perfect for our needs: remarkably quiet for being on a street, thermostat that worked perfectly, and effective black-out curtains.
The location near Petrin Park also meant walks on maintained and lighted walkways everyday. The tram stop is also super convenient, but we found ourselves walking to everything...a straight shot down the charming Nerudova street to the Charles Bridge, for example.
Our communication with the property owner/caretaker was perfect. We had questions answered in advance of our stay, were given a list of cultural links and suggestions (and were thus able to book some theater and concerts in advance), and had a payment issue (a request on our side) resolved quickly and kindly. Our transportation to/from the airport was kindly arranged on request, and Radek met us (though our flight had been delayed) at the apartment and walked us through all the amenities. It was also a very good workspace with reliable wi-fi internet.
We suggest that art lovers take advantage of the National Gallery exhibitions in the neighborhood, as well as the Lobkowicz in the Castle grounds. It is our sincere hope that we have the opportunity to stay at this property in the future. We feel lucky to have found such a gem.
Clean, tidy and has all you could need. Very close to the Palace and easy access to downtown
No problems at all. You need to be good at steps visiting Prague as of course it’s in a big valley but it’s OK, just take it steady. Apartment ideal and close to amenities.
Thank you for the 5 star review! While the apartment is in the historical city center and you can easily walk everywhere, please note that one can always take the tram if tired (instructions are sent by email, are also on a sheet in the apartment and Radek is always happy to provide additional information). We are glad that you enjoyed the apartment and hope to see you again soon.
Excellent apartment just steps from Prague Castle
Our host Radek was amazing! We arrived pretty late - around 9:40pm - and he was ready and waiting for us at the apartment. He took the time to walk us through all of the features of the apartment and the surrounding area, as well as giving us recommendations for sightseeing and eating. Check-in and check-out were very smooth and easy. The apartment itself was in a great location - steps from both Prague Castle and the monastery. The neighborhood was extremely quiet, and seemed to pretty much shut down kind of early - the streets and cafes were quite empty by 9pm. This was great for sleeping, but difficult for finding a bite to eat later in the evening. It was an easy walk down to Lesser Town, Charles Bridge and across the river to the Old City. The apartment itself was very well appointed - we had everything we needed and were very glad to have both a washing machine and clothes dryer - a convenience that is extremely rare in most European cities!! We would definitely recommend this apartment to friends, and would consider staying here again if we were to visit Prague in the future.
Thank you Jennifer for the wonderful and comprehensive review! Regarding eating out late in the evening, while the area is quiet at night (no bars), there are restaurants around where you can eat in the late evening hours, we have a list of recommendations in the apartment (also sent by email) and Radek is always happy to give advice, he is just a quick phone call away. Looking forward to have you back!
Wonderful apartment, great location!
This apartment is very clean and modern. We found it to be very comfortable and fit our needs perfectly. The area is very safe, and the location near Prague Castle was very scenic. One evening we walked the short distance to the Castle and enjoyed the night views of the city. The tram was about 15 minutes away and was an easy ride to the main part of the old city. And it is free for people over 70! Dana was very helpful and responded quickly to any questions. He provided an extensive set of helpful details to make our stay better, even warning about which restaurants to avoid. Unfortunately, I didn't read it until after I paid way too much for so-so food!
The only negative was the lack of hot water on a few occasions. We were told it was because of the start of heating season, and the system apparently couldn't support hot water for the rediators and hot water use. If we turned the thermostat down slightly it seemed to be ok.
We used his driver to pick us up at the airport and take us to the train station, which was very convenient, and the price was reasonable. Unfortunately, the driver spoke little English.
We recommend staying here!
Thank you for the great 5 star review, we are glad that you enjoyed your stay and found our tips helpful! Regarding the distance to the tram station, the time depends which tram station you choose to go to (4 options) and also on your fitness, it takes most people under 10 minutes. We are sorry that the heating system had reliability issue during the first use of the heating season. We had it serviced and the system works perfectly now, supporting well both hot water and radiators, so one can turn the heating to the maximum and take a long hot shower simultaneously. We are glad that you were happy with the airport/train station transfers. We always strive to make sure that our guests are happy! We are looking forward to your next visit!
Nice, modern apartment
This apartment was a very impressive place to stay. It was very modern, though in an old building, and had everything (even a dryer!) that you could want in a rental. It was very well located for visiting the castle but was quite a hike back up to each night after going down to the bridge and the older part of town.
Radek checked us in and was easily available when we needed to contact him.
Wonderful place!
Thank you for the great 5 star review, we are glad that you enjoyed the apartment and your stay! Regarding the return to the apartment from sightseeing in the Old Town, while it is only 15 minute walk, we always recommend to take a tram if you are tired (this info is sent along with other information by email prior to guests’ stay and also is on the practical information sheet in the apartment in addition to Radek mentioning it as part of the check-in). We are glad that you had a nice experience and look forward to your next visit!
Fantastic apartment Prague
Wonderful quiet location away from the tourist throngs yet convenient to walk or take trams to sites. Dana great to work with. Easy check in. Slept great in comfortable bed. We used the kitchen which was nice. Felt like home there immediately. We will be recommending to our friends.
