This fisherman's cottage is possibly in THE PERFECT location in Poole. Situated within a stones throw (literally) from the Sea, and right next to the Fisherman's Dock, with direct access to the sea side foot walk onto the Poole Quayside and Town Centre. There is an abundance of activities that you can book to include Fishing Trips, Dive Boats, Sailing Boats, Parascending and more, as well as fantastic array of bars and restaurants that cater for all ages and tastes. The two bedrooms both have stunning sea views, with the master bedroom looking out over the harbour and across to Brownsea Island. There is a comfy lounge area with all expected facilities and a dining area that leads out onto the 'sun trap' patio and garden that backs onto the harbour and is absolutely perfect for BBQ, playing with your children or just relaxing in the sunshine. This fantastic property is child friendly and has off street parking for 2 cars / boats.
I live on the outskirts of London with my wife and dog and have been lucky enough to travel up and down to Poole since i was a young lad with my family, and now with my own family.
The location of this property cannot get much better if you want sea views and to have the option to just leave your car in the drive and walk around Poole and the local area.
We've been slowly upgrading the property over the past few years, and its really becoming what we've envisaged now. Those regulars who come back year on year have been making very positive comments. The bathroom was refurbished in 2014, and in May 2015 all carpets replaced, bedroom, lounge and dining room furniture replaced. An internal redecoration was also undertaken.
The Kitchen and dining room was all replaced in April 2016 with an external decoration undertaken also.

Beautifully clean cottage with everything you need for a relaxed stay.Lovely views from front and back. Loved everything about it. Poole is a great place to stay with extremely friendly people and pubs. Would love to go back later in the year (so would the dogs).
This was our second time staying at this property. It is a lovely property in an amazing location, would highly recommend & stay at again.

The property was very nicely decorated and felt like a new house - very well cared for.
The fully enclosed rear garden was a real bonus for us as we had our 2 Welsh Springers with us.

We really enjoyed our stay in Poole. We loved that the cottage is right on the water. It was dark and raining when we arrived so we were very happy to find coffee, tea, bread, milk, butter and jam. Everything we needed until we could go shopping. We would love to come back in the summer and explore the area some more. There are so many little shops, restaurants and pubs that are just a five minute walk from the cottage that we didn't get to.
We spent 6 nights at the house and it was superb. Great location right by the harbor and had all the facilities you would need. Nice touch to have a welcome pack of bread, milk and jams. Ideal location close to pubs and restaurants. We will recommend this to friends and family and will be back next year.
On the whole we enjoyed our stay.Super location and views. Beds comfortable and central heating excellent. Lovely welcome pack and much appreciated. Within walking distance of Poole. Easy access to Bournmouth, Boscombe, Christchurch and Sandbanks by car. Good enclosed garden for the dog. Could have some general improvements. For eg garden furniture, easier key safe to open/close, light over front door as we found difficulty finding where to put the key when returning at night, need shelves in bathroom, Internet could be better as very hit and miss.Just to inform you that the dining light fitment is loose from the ceiling.You did ask me to let you know my suggestions if any. Hope alright? I regret to say that I think that the property is a little overpriced, especially for this time of year!
Poole is a vibrant, bustling town with stunning views from the Quayside across Poole Harbour, the worlds second largest natural harbour. You can take a stroll down the quayside where many activities can be booked to include Fishing, Diving, Sailing, Kitesurfing and Windsurfing amongst others. There are also numerous boat trips that can be taken in various directions, up to Wareham, across to Brownsea Island, or to the beautiful Sandbanks and Studland Bay beaches.
There are some fantastic walks to be had along the Dorset Jurassic Coast which is steeped in wildlife for all nature lovers. On that note the harbour is of International importance for wildlife conservation and borders 3 nature reserves, whilst also being home to the rare 'Red Squirrel'.
Poole is of great historical interest having been used by the Romans as an Invasion port to take over the South of England, and as a result there have been historical findings with the oldest being a logboat dating back to 295 BC
