Cottage with private access to pristine Echo Lake in East Charleston, VT. One of Vermont's cleanest lakes. Cottage set back in the woods off the water. Shallow entry and dock for water fun. Great for a family vacation. About 20 miles from East Burke and the Kingdom trails. Just down the road from the Clyde River Recreation area and the Northwood Stewardship Center. Lake very quiet and a wonderful place to listen to the loons. No pets please.

Very peaceful

Of everything going on in this country with covid and politics, we wanted a place to stop the clock. This was definitely the place! The lake was quite, great kayaking, did a little fishing. And my favorite, sitting back listening to the Loons!

Kingdom Trails Mountain Biking Trip

We had a great time exploring the north country and staying at this cabin at Echo Lake! The cabin is about 25 minutes north of Kingdom Trails Mountain bike park, which has lots to offer. We spent all morning into the afternoon exploring the trails and attractions in East Burke, then came back and jumped right in the lake out front for the evening. The lake is beautiful with very clear water. The cabin was very clean and well kept. There are two private bedrooms, but definitely enough space for 6-8 people with pull out couches in separate living rooms if you have a large group. All the ammenities you could need are included. There are hiking options close to the cabin as well. Great option for an outdoor adventure trip! Highly recommended for large biking groups.
