About the property

5 Bedroom / 4 bath with basement Sleeps 21

As you enter the Asheville Lodge, you will immediately feel a true lodge experience. This real mountain house will captivate you with its soaring rafters and high ceilings, vaulted spaces and the warmth of wood throughout, this home is a treat!

The open kitchen, dining room, and great room, with stone wood burning fireplace, allow everyone ample space to gather and spend time together. The great room is filled with light from the expansive windows across the entire back of the home, which rise two stories in the great room. Three levels gives everyone the opportunity to go off and find a quiet corner if need be, or grab someone for a game of foosball or poker in the terrace level TV room.

Now, step out on to the expansive deck that runs the entire length of the home, and take in the long range mountain view that will entertain you your entire stay. There is a fire pit on the deck, so pull up a chair and watch the sunset, as a blanket of stars fill the sky. A hot jacuzzi/tub is also there for your pleasure.

You are just minutes from away from America's favorite scenic byway, The Blue Ridge Parkway, biking, hiking, white water rafting, rock climbing, kayaking, canoeing, zip lining, Segway tours... just about any outdoor activity! Or, take a quick ride to downtown Asheville to enjoy the first-rate restaurants, shopping, galleries, spas, and entertainment.

This private log home is 6 minutes, 4 miles, northeast of downtown Asheville, 25 minutes from Asheville Regional airport, 10 minutes to the gates of the Biltmore estate. Located at approximately 3,000 feet in elevation, which is just an amazing view. Asheville Lodge, does have a paved steep driveway, very common in mountain homes.

Spacious Home, Perfect for Reunions

  • 5 of 5

Our Bachelor Party group of 12 stayed here for an excellent long weekend. There was plenty of room for socializing and the sleeping arrangements were great. Mercedes was attentive and we had everything we needed. We had a blast in Asheville and particularly enjoyed the back deck with its fantastic views. High recommendation!!

Asheville Lodge was the perfect place for the families for our daughters wedding.

  • 5 of 5

The Asheville was the perfect place for my wife's four sisters and their families. Everyone was in Asheville for our daughter's wedding on Saturday. The house was able to accommodate everyone very comfortably and worked great to host dinners on Thursday and Sunday. The deck was great and was used every night to enjoy the fantastic views and sit around the fire pit. Several of the people even sighted some black bears which was exciting!

Everyone loves Asheville Lodge

  • 5 of 5

We had our 20th college reunion here... 15 women and we had plenty of room. The house was very clean and comfortable. We loved the porch, large great room and the proximity to downtown Asheville. It was not a problem to get an Uber or food delivery. Great time!

Close, clean, and comfy

  • 5 of 5

We had 13 girlfriends together for a Reunion Weekend, and the house was perfect for us. Plenty of beds, living room areas, and dining spots. The hot tub wasn't working correctly which was a bummer for us but Mercedes was very quick to respond and easy to work with. We'd love to come back!

Peaceful!

  • 5 of 5

My family and I really enjoyed our stay for my birthday celebration! There were plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms, and the open floor plan kept everyone connected. The view was stunning! The place was clean and I appreciated knowing there is weekly maintenance of the hot tub. The owner was very attentive. The home is tucked away in the woods but very close to town, putting everything we wanted 15-30 minutes away. I highly recommend this property!

Perfect, Spacious Cabin

  • 5 of 5

This cabin was perfect for our group of 11 girls. In fact, the cabin is so spacious, that we were each able to have our own bed and there were still beds to spare! The location is perfect, and is only a short drive from downtown. Also, the cabin has amazing views, an awesome hot tub, and a fully stocked kitchen. One of the girls in our group is a professional chef, and on our last night, we stayed in and made a gourmet meal for all 11 girls. The kitchen had everything we needed and it was delish! The only minor recommendation I have is to add a full length mirror. The cabin is huge, with many rooms and bathrooms, and I was surprised that there was not a single full length mirror. Definitely a must have item for a group of girls!

Also, Mercedes is super accommodating! She let us check in early and sent a nice text after we arrived to confirm that we got in ok and to see if we needed anything.

I did a lot of research to find this perfect cabin in Asheville, and it met all expectations! I would definitely recommend this place to any large groups looking to stay in a luxurious home with views, a hot tub, and only a short drive away from downtown!
