Beautiful home, lots of character, amazing hosts
The home is just beautiful, clean and welcoming. Had a lovely welcome from Marthese, Ian and Christina. We were left lots of goodies to eat in the kitchen, Ian and Christina gave us a short tour of Rabat. Highly recommend it to anyone, they were so helpful.

Like being in a fairy tale ...
Dear Ian Cremona, I sent you already a short review on 27th May - you asked me whether you could use it for your homepage, and I agreed with pleasure. In addition, on 15th June I mailed you 4 photographs of your house, maybe especially one of the night sceneries of your house in the Triq Labini might be useful for your homepage, as well. My brother and I were absolutely happy in your house with its lovely atmosphere and excellent and clean equipment, and we were happy on Malta (our 1st stay, 12th to 23rd May 2014)! Your house was the most beautiful accomodation we ever had, like being in a fairy tale. (By the way, playing a music instrument - as I did nearly every day - is wonderful in this house, as I had already expected from the internet photographs!) In addition, especially for me (since an accident still a bit disabled with walking) it was wonderful to have the bus stops and shops so nearby, and to reach so many beautiful places already by only 5-15 minutes walking. We loved the nature walks on the Dingli Cliffs, for the 1st time experiencing the mediterranian 'garrigue'.The boat trip to the Blue Grotto was incredibly beautiful, as well! We enjoyed the visits of so many historical places and museums, and especially these absolutely marvellous and impressive neolithic temples. Every day we were happy coming back to your wonderful house. After having seen the huge hotels and appartment houses in Bugibba, it was such a relief to return into the quietness and ancient atmosphere of your house! When the taxi driver (the same very friendly Maltesian man who took us already from the airport to your house) picked us up in the end of our stay to take us back to the airport, I asked him to have a short look into the lower part of your house. He was so delighted, he said that he as well prefers the ancient houses and that WE HAVE MADE THE BEST CHOICE ON THE WHOLE ISLAND OF MALTA! Many thanks also to your mother, Marthese Cremona, who gave us such a warm welcome and good introduction to the house, who had bought food for us (a lovely surprise!), gave us many recommendations for nice places on Malta, and sometimes contacted us to ask whether we were well. Many thanks for everything, your house contributed to one of the most wonderful holidays we ever had! We would recommend it to everybody. Roselies and Hanfried Gehlig

A beautiful stay
I stayed in this beautiful house with a couple of friends last year. We enjoyed our time here to the fullest as it is such an authentic way to spend time in Malta. The house is located in a very convenient place, minutes away from Rabat center where you find many tasty ( good price) restaurants, bars, shops and buses. The best part of staying in this home and it's surroundings is that you really feel all the history Mdina has to offer. I guarantee a beautiful stay just as my friends and I enjoyed.

An amazing place to live
This house really gives a special feeling, even if you wouldn't know it as a history of 400 years. The feeling of sleeping under the roof is fantastic and the layout is really handy and thoughtfully equipped. It's really well situated - in a really calm environment and everything you need is close. I'd highly recommend it.

Magical
Lived here for almost 1 year. The house is welcoming from the moment that you step in. Beautifully renovated with the perfect combination of modern blended in with the antique stone. It is very comfortable and cosy yet easy to open up the skylight and windows to let in the fresh air of Rabat which is one of the highest points in Malta. It is located in an alley right next to the Roman Villa and has the advantage of being peaceful yet right in the middle of the attractions. At any time during the day or night you can walk about the fairy-tale streets of Rabat and Mdina, or go for longer walks or bike rides towards the cliffs of Dingli, Imtahleb and Bahrija. There are also many great restaurants and classic tea shops and bars around Rabat and Imdina and fresh Maltese Bread from the Rabat bakery all day. It is a perfect place to sample the best of one of the most beautiful areas on the Island.
