Family vacation
The weather and the beach were absolutely beautiful! The location was not great. There is no yard, and there is no dining table inside. Fortunately, we were able to eat dinners outside. Getting back in there is complicated as the road is one way and very narrow. This became a bigger challenge when a tree fell and blocked the entrance for a few days…but not typical. Overall, we made the best of things and had a great time!

Nice location, property needs attention
We liked the house overall but it really needs some maintenance. No hot water when we arrived. Property manager responded to correct the problem. The deck was not usable due to lack of cleanliness. Washing machine was unreliable. No ironing board which made it challenging to prepare for our wedding-related activities. Someone else’s dirty clothes left in dresser drawer. Ants found throughout. Window cranks didn’t always work. Our family enjoyed the lake. It is a beautiful spot!

Graduation weekend
The property was absolutely perfect! We had family coming in from several states and needed a place to be together to celebrate our grandson‘s graduation. The rooms were perfectly laid out. We have places for babies, young children and adults! Access to the beach, the lighthouse and the beautiful sunsets was icing on the cake. Thank you so much for letting us use it!

Great cottage for a family vacation
We rented the cottage to get our children and grandchildren together. It was an excellent space for everyone to decompress, relax, and visit. The walk to the beach was doable for both the toddlers and there was a small playground right across from the cottage that helped tire them out. We spent a day each in Saugatuck and downtown Holland for shopping, both within a short drive. The cottage kitchen was well appointed and the grill was easy to use. The only issue we ran into was storms that caused the power to go out the 1st night there. And it wasn't really a problem but a good reminder to pack for emergencies, as well. There were no candles or flashlights in the cottage, but fortunately we had a flashlight and someone else had a couple of battery operated camping lanterns which saw us through until the power came back on. Overall, it was a great stay and we really enjoyed the cottage and the location!
