Quiet, comfortable and convenient!
Jackie is a wonderful host and a great communicator. She is very thorough and quick to answer questions, and check in/out was super easy with combination locks for the doors. The building is, of course, historic and very well maintained. The apartment was extremely clean, top to bottom. I especially enjoyed the really thick, fluffy towels! Kitchen has everything you could need and we enjoyed the ceramic nonstick pans and made smoothies with the blender. We also enjoyed the games in the hallway chest that are shared with the front unit. Beds were comfortable and the neighborhood is very quiet. I was here working at the boat show, with my son and our nanny. The walk to the show took about 12 minutes- very convenient! Highly recommend any rentals with Jackie!
Great location to visit USNA
Great location to visit our midshipman at the USNA. Clean. Comfortable. Owner Jackie is easy to communicate and wonderful to work with. We are a repeat renter. I would highly recommend this property.
Stay in Annapolis
Property was in a great location and very quiet. However, the stairs up front the front entry were very steep and the air conditioners had a hard time keeping up with the heat.
Thank-you for your review! Our building is typical of Annapolis, with stairs that are to the 2nd floor apartment(s). The stairs are carpeted and there are hand rails on each side of the hallway up the stairs.
The AC units in this apartment are well maintained, and if you read other reviews you will see that people comment on how well they cool the space. I wish you would have told me that you were having an issue with the AC cooling. I would have had it checked out for you, or made sure they had the controls set properly. I was at this apartment last night and they cooled very well!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The proximity to downtown cannot be beat, as well as to a small waterfront park. The accommodations were great and we were in need of nothing while there. I highly recommend this quaint spot. We will definitely stay again if/when we return to Annapolis area. Thank you so much!!
Overall a great place to stay
My family and I enjoyed our stay in this location. The only issue was that the air mattress topper on the pull out couch did not work properly.
Thank you for your review. The pull out couch in the living room has the most upgraded mattress available. It is a inner spring mattress with an air mattress topper. Just like any air mattress, it will lose air through your sleep, but there is an innerspring mattress that is very comfortable under this air topper. Also, at any time you can reinflate the air topper with just a touch of a button(it is a plugged in pump with a touch pad control).
Perfect spot for exploring Annapolis
Jackie was a great host. Very communicative and the apartment was perfectly prepared. It is located in a great area, making walking down West St and Main St quick and easy. The backyard patio is a lovely spot to enjoy a glass of wine or coffee. We would definitely return on future trips.
Located in Annapolis' historic district upscale neighborhood of Acton's Landing, this landmark building has been completely renovated. The apartment renovations were completed in 2012. This building is located 1/2 block from a water access park (water taxi access), and just blocks away from everything Annapolis' downtown has to offer.
Perfect for Naval Academy functions (parents weekends, homecoming, sporting events), boat shows, weekend getaways, or longer term rentals for business or pleasure.
Blocks away from the best downtown restaurants and shopping. Also blocks away from historic sights and museums.
Within walking distance to everything.
