This is the perfect place for a getaway! There are miles of sandy beach along the shore of Lake Superior right out the back door. You are close (4 blocks) to the aerial lift bridge, Canal Park, and downtown Duluth. The house was newly remodeled in the spring of 2012 to include fireplace and sauna. Main level and upstairs have amazing views of Lake Superior (you can see the lake while relaxing in the claw-foot tub). Downstairs includes washer/dryer, Foosball, and air-hockey table.

Always perfect

This was our fourth consecutive winter trip to the beach house. It’s always spotless and manages to be both cozy & more than spacious enough for two of us. Heather and Steve are always kind and responsive owners… they left me a birthday card 🙂 Come for the sauna, stay for the sauna.

Perfect Park Point location

Great view of Lake Superior, beach access steps away, short walk to Canal Park. Clean, comfortable, and cozy house. Hosts are easily reached and quick to respond to any questions. I’ve stayed in this house 4 times and have never been dissatisfied.

Cozy place

It felt really cozy in the house and it's well equipped. Kitchen had everything I needed for a lasagna dinner and Caesar salad (Christmas dinner). We enjoyed a sauna, the fireplace and a great windy, rainy walk on the beach.

Steve and I (Heather) have lived in Duluth for the past 25 and 20 years, respectively. We call it home now and have a tough time seeing ourselves living elsewhere. Lake Superior has a draw and we've been mesmerized since moving here. We both love the water and spend a significant amount of our free time walking the beach, stand-up paddle boarding, kayaking, surfing, canoeing and fishing. We love this area and always look forward to coming home when we've gone on vacation.

What makes this property unique

You'll have direct access to the largest freshwater lake in the WORLD (Lake Baikal in Russia is largest by volume, Lake Superior is largest by surface area)!

You are 5 blocks away for the farthest inland port in the world.

You are 5 blocks away from one of the largest lift bridges in the United States. There you can view Ocean and Great Lake ships from less than 100 feet as they enter and leave the port.

Minnesota Point is surrounded by water and the Aerial Lift Bridge is the only point of access by land. You are essentially on an island!
