Not exactly “serene”, but great place to stay

We liked this rental condo. It was clean and pretty well stocked. It would have been nice to have beach towels available, but there were plenty of white bath towels available. Although the curtains and doorwall helped with the sound, there was a lot of street noise. Sitting on the balcony was not serene at all. Others in our group had units on the other side of the building and it was much quieter. I realize that street noise is not a controllable factor, but not sure it should be advertised as “serene”. Otherwise, we loved this unit and it’s close proximity to beach, restaurants, etc. I had a few questions and the host responded right away!

Great place

The location was perfect. It’s a bit small for a family of five, but we managed. The kids loved the pool. We loved having the beach so close. The balcony was a hit. The sofa bed is really just a sofa. Our seven year old was fine sleeping on it while our other two kids used the bunk bed. He thought it was comfortable. We’d definitely consider staying here again on a future trip to Galveston!

Perfect for my family

This lovely condo was perfect for my little family. It is located very close to the elevator and the pool. The condo was decorated beautifully & the bed was comfortable. My children enjoyed the bunk beds and balcony. The only suggestion I have, is to put a blackout curtain in the bedroom; the hallway light shines through the bedroom window. We hope to return soon!

Mardi Gras Fun

Overall property was great. The mattress cover and foam padding were really hot to sleep on so not sure how that would be in the summer. But all in all the property was clean and well furnished. Plenty of towels and they even had coffee. Thanks for a nice stay.

Great location!

We thoroughly enjoyed the location of this condo. It was so great to wake up and walk across the street to the beach. We loved how updated the condo was and the decor was so cute. However, the listing said that the couch was a pull out and that 5 people could stay there. Sadly, the couch had recently been replaced and the listing did not mention this change. Having brought 3 child, 2 of which are teenagers, it didn’t work out so well. The bunk beds mattresses are very thin and only our 9 yr old enjoyed a good nights sleep. If the couch had been a pull out our experience would have been much better as we could have put the older kids together on that bed. When communicating this with owners, they were sorry the listing didn’t reflect the couch change but otherwise didn’t do anything about the situation. It’s a cute condo with a great location but we won’t ever stay again.
