The 3 bedroom bay side apartment boasts spectacular views, from all bedrooms and the living area, of the stunning Mourne Mountains and beautiful Dundrum Bay.

There are two king-sized bedrooms with en-suite shower rooms, a single bedroom and main family bathroom. The open plan living/dining area opens out onto a generous sized balcony, allowing you to enjoy the naturally relaxing, almost hypnotic, setting of this 1st floor apartment. There is a well equipped, modern kitchen including fridge/freezer, dishwasher and a washer/drier.

Within a 1 minute walk you can enjoy some of the finest restaurants in the area including a pub which has been described as “the most popular destination in the whole Mourne area for anyone who appreciates quality food.” Using this as your base, amble along the coastline, see the seals basking in the sun’s rays, embark upon climbing the encouraging tracks up the Mourne Mountains or take pleasure in making the most of the fantastic countryside on horseback.

We had a brilliant time in the apartment - the best 'Staycation' we have ever had.....the views from the apartment were just amazing....I could never tire of looking at the water.

The 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms was just perfect for a girly weekend as we each got our own bedrooms so didn't have to listen to anyone else snoring..!! and no queuing for the shower in the mornings or worry about clearing away all our toilitries for the next person waiting to use the bathroom - we all agreed it was just the perfect setup and can't wait to go back again in 2011

Both double bedrooms are ensuite and have sliding French-door windows and a built in wardrobe. A hairdryer is provided in Bedroom 1. The single bedroom occupant can have exclusive use of the family bathroom if they wish, so no queues for the shower in the morning!

There is a small range of DVDs which are suitable for family viewing. A range of board games are available and a small selection of books (should you forget to bring one of your own!)

Wonderful place to unwind

This appartment never fails to impress. My fourth visit and I am already looking forward to my next visit. The view towards the Mourne Mountains is stunning and the ebb and flow of the tide in the inlet is entrancing. Being on the balcony watching the sunrise is pure joy. The appartment itself is spotlessly clean and comfortably roomy. Local shops and restaurants are a short walk away. It is just about perfect.

Dundrum is a small village located on Dundrum Bay, at the foot of the Mourne Mountains. This area is recognised as both an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and one of the finest places on the island of Ireland to see a wonderful range of wildlife. Within 10 minutes drive there is an extensive range of activities, whatever your age or interests, including Golf at the world famous Royal County Down golf course, (a mere 5 minutes away); horse riding, both in the forests surrounding the area as well as exhilarating beach rides; and of course, with such a stunning mountain range, hill walkers are spoilt for choice. However, if you are looking to unwind, then look no further. It’s peaceful location and stunning views encourage you to switch off your Blackberry, unplug the TV and simply watch the fantastic display of sea bird acrobatics, seals bobbing past your window and the ever changing landscape created by the ebb and flow of the twice daily tide – all from the comfort of your balcony.

Golf: Royal County Down is one of the oldest Golf Clubs in Ireland with traditions dating back for more than one hundred years. Situated in Newcastle, where in the immortal words of Percy French, 'The Mountains of Mourne sweep down to the sea', Royal County Down is not only a fine test of golf but has accompanying scenery that is spellbinding.

Alongside the Championship Links, Royal County Down has a second course, The Annesley Links. Laid out beneath the same massive, almost menacing backdrop, the Annesley Links is nowhere near as intimidating or as formidable a challenge as the Championship Links, but then it was never intended to be. It is a course for everyone.

A weekend night refers to a Friday, Saturday or Sunday. There is an additional utility/linen fee of £35 for parties of up to 2 guests and £45 for 3 or more guests. A 25% deposit (non-refundable) is required to confirm the booking. The remaining balance must be paid at least 4 weeks before the rental period.
Cancellation policy: When payment in full has been received and for whatever reason you are unable to make use of the apartment, we will attempt to re-let it. However, it is regretted that no guarantee can be given that a re-let will be achieved and should it not be possible we will not be able to make a refund of the payment.
A £200 damage deposit is payable with the final balance. Should it not be required, the damage deposit will be returned within 7 working days of departure.
