This spacious villa has an enviable hilltop location in Labrador, offering fantastic views and balmy sea breezes, yet is conveniently and centrally located...only 5 min stroll to the Broadwater (ocean) and just a short drive to the larger resort area of Surfers Paradise.

This tastefully furnished home has polished floorboards throughout and is on 2 levels. The huge, alfresco dining terrace is your 'outdoor living room' overlooking the sunny rear lawn & private pool area, with a gas BBQ for those informal meals. A fully equipped gourmet kitchen, separate laundry and open-plan dining/living areas with vaulted ceilings and modern entertainment unit will please the most discerning traveler. 3 double bedrooms, modern bathroom and separate WC are also on this level. Downstairs there is a large study with 2 single beds, small bathroom with shower/WC & off street parking for 2 cars. Walk to restaurants, beach & swimming, 2-5 min drive to shopping...this home offers a VERY convenient location

Gold Coast/Labrador Outdoor Activities: From parks to the Broadwater, Labrador is a haven for those who love the outdoors. Aquatic sports are a drawcard for the area and are popular not only for those participating but also for tourists and locals who enjoy being spectators. Wind surfing, fishing and parasailing are popular activities and families with small children crowd to the Broadwater for fun in the sun and to swim and play in shallow still waters.

The Gold Coast is a golfer's paradise and there are about 20 courses within 30 minutes drive. Robina Woods, The Glades, Royal Pines, Hope Island, Lakelands, Sanctuary Cove and Hope Island are all superb courses that will challenge even the most serious golfer. Green fees are very reasonable (compared with Europe) and often include cart rental.

Labrador offers good motorway access to Brisbane city and easy airport access to both Brisbane International (50 mins) and Coolangatta (40 mins) domestic airports. Both airports are serviced by major car rental companies.

Theme Parks, National Parks & Wildlife: Australia's most popular theme parks are within an easy 15 minutes drive. Sea World at Main Beach offers a wide range of marine-themed shows, attractions and rides and is a fun day for the whole family. Experience the magic and excitement of Hollywood at Warner Bros Movie World, or for splashtacular fun you can't go past Wet'n'Wild World or Whitewater World, Australia's biggest and best water theme parks. For evening entertainment we recommend a visit to the Australian Outback Spectacular - a unique and exciting evening dinner show capturing the grandeur of the Australian Outback!

The Gold Coast Hinterland is home to some wonderful National Parks and scenic walks, including world heritage listed Lamington National Park, Tambourine Mountain National Park and Springbook National Park. There are numerous wildlife parks where you can see kangaroos & koalas and other Australian native animals and reptiles, as well as whale watching cruises which provide an unforgettable experience.

Shopping, Dining & Evening Entertainment: Labrador has no shortage of shopping with local shops, large supermarkets and shopping centres all within an easy 5 minutes drive! Chirn Park uis the local shopping village (1km away) with bakery, post office, small grocery shops, chemist, butcher, newsagent etc. as well as several small cafes and restaurants. Larger shopping centreds are easily accessible with Harbour Town Shopping Centre & Australia Fair Shopping Centre only 5 mins drive away. Harbour Town is great for fashion bargains as it is a centre for discount outlet stores. Both centres have multiple movie theatres. There are also several weekend markets within easy driving distance from Labrador.

If you don't feel like cooking dinner, you can just stroll down the street to the Broadwater and choose from a range of waterfront restaurants. Nearby Surfers Paradise offers exciting nightlife options and at Broadbeach (20mins drive) there is a large Casino and Nightclub featuring international shows and performers.

Why Maggie Cruice chose Gold Coast

We fell in love with this house the first time we saw it. We have a very large block of land in a fantastic location on a small hilltop that overlooks the Broadway. We live in a quiet neighbourhood with a short (600m) walk down to the Broadwater - we walk our dogs along the oceanfront each morning when we are holidaying here. The house is lovely and private, but the location is so convenient to everything....shops, beach, entertainment, golf courses etc.

What makes this house unique

We fell in love with the views from our shady rear patio! It has a great aspect (north) and is so quiet and peaceful! There is nothing we like better than relaxing in our backyard while enjoying a glass or 2 of wine! Being in an elevated location means that we enjoy all the ocean breezes ...very important when you are trying to stay cool on a warm summer day! The other thing we love is our pool! It is larger than your average pool and because it enjoys the sun all day, it means we can swim virtually all year round.

From the moment you walk into this property you feel relaxed and at home - we were four mature ladies who all enjoyed their own room with comfortable beds and beautiful linen - the fluffy towels were to die for!! All the modern appliances are there and all the bits and pieces you would ever need are in the kitchen eg. corn cob holders. We really appreciated that all the cleaning, washing up detergents and dishwasher tablets were supplied. The house is spotlessly clean as is the magnificent pool. For those that don't want to be in all the hustle and bustle of the Gold Coast while only being 15minutes away this is the property for you

Strictly No smoking inside the house - outside patios only. Small breed (under 10kg), fully house trained dogs may be considered upon application. Sorry no other pets. The 12 meter pool is fully fenced and in an open, sunny position, so you can enjoy swimming year round. The house is located in a quiet residential street and is very private. Huge lawns at front and rear (great for kids and small dogs!) and there is a washing line on the back lawn. Baby portacot, highchair & stroller available at no extra cost

A wonderful spacious property,maintained to a high standard,with a delightful garden and pool, close to Surfers Paradise, and other attractions,such as SeaWorld,and close to many golden sandy beaches,The Marina Mirage, with its restaurants,and beautiful yachts.

Spent many evenings on the terrace, sipping on Australian Shiraz,watching the fruit bats and colourful birds fly by.

If your looking for a property for a family, that's modern and comfy,i would highly recommend here!! Maggie the owner is a lovely lady who is accommodating the her guests,!!My family had a memorable time here and we will never forget it, as we celebrated our silver wedding in style.

Fantastic Holiday Rental

What a lovely holiday home with a fantastic location. Everything you need is within walking distance - beach, restaurants, shops, etc. Theme parks not far away and Brisbane city centre only a short drive. The swimming pool is immaculately clean and the views from the balcony are spectacular. The kitchen area is well kitted out with all the equipment you need to cook, including some great recipe books. The bedrooms are very comfy and you have plenty of room in this huge home.

Absolutely loved our stay and we can't wait to come back. Holiday of a lifetime!!!

Wonderful family holiday

We had a fabulous time staying in this property. It was spotlessly clean and had every amenity you could wish for. Its position was breath-taking with fantastic views towards Broadwater and Southport as can be seen in the property photographs.

Although shops and local amenities are nearby a car is essential to fully appreciate the beautiful beaches and areas that the Gold Coast has to offer.

We would definitely recommend this property to friends and family.

Beautiful house and garden with private pool !

This is a beautifully equipped, spacious family home, in a quiet location, yet just a short distance from all the local shops and amenities and with easy access to all the Gold Coast resorts.

The property is attractively furnished throughout, is very clean and well maintained and the owners could not have been more friendly and welcoming.

We had a lovely family holiday here, made more memorable by all the modern comforts that we were able to enjoy at this delightful property.

We would have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone!

Lovely house, Fabulous pool, Great location ....

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely home and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to stay in the Gold Coast

area. The house is situated slightly north of the main centre of the GC in a quiet residential area with everything you could need "just down the road!". This location is perfect for visiting all the theme parks and great beaches that Queensland is famous for and with the added bonus of at least two beautiful National Parks virtually on the door step it's hard to beat.The house itself was clean, equipped, and maintained to a high standard with a fabulous pool and terrace. We loved sitting on the terrace enjoying the breeze,the birdlife and watching the Fruit Bats fly over every evening.

Maggie was very friendly and helpful during our numerous emails
