The condo is luxurious, ample space for 3 couples, and has made this vacation unforgettable! We spent most of our time on the lanai. The grill was useful too! The management team was been amazing. Communication from start to finish was top notch. The check in process was seamless and the condo was extremely well appointed and very clean. This is our 4th time staying with IPM and we are consistently very pleased.

Disappointed and have stayed in this complex multiple times...

My family and I stayed at this unit of the Ho'olei for 12 days. This is the 1st and last time I would rent from this company. See emails:

Aloha Geoff,

I left you a message on your voicemail regarding our unit at the Ho'olei property. We have had several things come up or go wrong during our stay here, and I wanted to make you aware of them. Some are minor, but others have caused inconveniences that have caused us to think twice about renting another property from your company. This is our third time renting one of the units at the Ho'olei (once from the Grand Wailea, once from a private owner, and now through Island Property Mgmt). This time and this unit has been far less enjoyable from our previous experiences. I am listing below the items that should be fixed in order to make your next guests stay a better one.

- key cards that work (all 3 would not open the front door)

- front porch/outdoor lightbulb burnt out

- no potholder for cooking (I bought some at ABC that I will leave in the unit)

- no dry measuring cups (only liquid ones)

- hood/vent for gas range in the house broken and will not elevate for use

- desk chair broken

Security concerns:

- Garage door does not lock from inside. This is a big security concern given that many people have the garage code and access to the unit. It does not feel secure to me given that I have two baby girls.

- Security tech service guy came to our door asking to service the property without any formal warning or courtesy call from you or your company. This is inappropriate and inexcusable. The tech had no idea that we were not informed. It is not only inconvenient but inappropriate to have the unit serviced while we are paying guests unless at our request.

I appreciate your attention and response to these concerns.



I apologize for the issues that you experienced.

Items tend to be removed from units by past guests and we are not always aware when this may occur. I appreciate you alerting us to these problems. We will replace the indicated items as necessary. In the future, should you stay with us again, please alert us to any problems so that we can immediately correct your concerns and not diminish the enjoyability of your vacation. There is an on-line form, on our website, where work orders can be easily submitted by guests. All of this information is contained in the binder, located on the kitchen counter of each Villa.

Owner's Response: This particular guest stayed with us from 12-30-2017 thru 1-7-2018. Her complaints about the Villa were submitted to our company 3 days after her departure on 1-10-2018. While we accept full responsibility for any issues that a guest may experience, we must be informed of a complaint in order to properly rectify the situation. We have a great tool for filing on-line work orders with immediate response times. This particular guest did not utilize that system and failed to communicate her complaints. Again - we accept full responsibility for all concerns but stress that, should a problem arise during your stay, please contact us immediately so that we may properly rectify the situation.

Ho'olei 69-5 Luxury Villa, Ideal Location and Beautiful View!

This property is both luxurious and private. We have stayed twice at Ho'olei and while the (approx $1,000 per night all in) price for the three bedroom, three and a half bath villa, with gourmet kitchen and lanai is substantial, it is also a great value - less than what you would spend on two hotel rooms at the Grand Wailea with much more space and privacy. The amenities - pool, hot tubs, and gym at the villas are all beautiful and well maintained. The pool serves hot coffee in the morning and ice tea and water all day long - very nice as we left early in the morning for walks on the beach with coffees in hand and spent the afternoons by the pool enjoying cold teas and water. The villa also had an assortment of beach toys, chairs and snorkel gear in the garage closet for renters as well as an ample supply of beach towels in the laundry room.

Having stayed at Ho'olei before, we selected this particular villa for it's decor, it's proximity to the entrance, the pool and gym, and also because it was high enough up to have an ocean view. We enjoyed that the villa was walking distance to the beach and to the Shoppes at Wailea.

I found Island Property Management to be responsive to emails in advance of our stay and we had no issues with anything while there. The villa was exactly as advertised and Ho'olei is even more beautiful in person. Bath supplies as well as laundry detergent were provided (except tissues). We would rent with IPM again on future visits.

Favorite restaurants nearby - Monkeypod (a casual Meriman's restaurant with great MaiTai's), and at the Shoppes at Wailea we enjoyed Tommy Bahama's and Longhi's.

Great Location, Beautiful Villa!

We had a great stay at this Ho'olei villa. The place was very clean, nicely furnished with designer furniture (Tommy Bahama), and roomy for our seven family members. The unit is two story with an elevator which came in handy for my elderly mom. We had a nice ocean view from the second floor and enjoyed many beautiful Maui sunsets. The walk to the beach was an enjoyable 10 minutes through the Grand Wailea across the street. When we didn't feel like going to the busy beach, there's an office area a few minutes away with a gym, sauna and a pool nestled in a beautiful oasis, that we spent hours in with our family. I highly recommend this villa for families with elderly and or children.

Beautiful!!! Great location. Very nice.

What a beautiful home. It was the perfect size. We had 8, 4 adults and 4 kids, and no one was ever on top of each other. Everything was top notch. Great location close to dining, shopping, beaches, etc. We would definitely stay again when we return. That was out 5th time to the islands and probably the nicest place we have rented, and we have stayed in some nice places.
