About this property

If your looking for a small mountain getaway out-side of town, but close enough to enjoy the amenities of Ruidoso, NM. This little one bedroom cabin with a queen bed, and short loft with 2 twin beds(great for the kids) look no farther. The cabin has a deck with great views of the Lincoln National Forrest. The cabin comes complete with stocked kitchen, BBQ grill and a 4 person hot tub, there is a small patio heater, but you'll have to provide small camp style propane bottles. This cabin is one of the closest to Ski Apache, down hill skiing in the winter and all new year round "Zip line" one mile drop, one of the longest ones in the country. Near by there are casinos, shopping, dinning, as well as hiking ,mountain biking,fishing and horseback riding.

Relax in Majestic Alto.

This property is a little slice of Utopia for us. The cabin is very cozy and well kept. We are in the 50 something range and enjoyed the hot tub and porch swing most of all. The kitchen is tiny, but we managed to cook 2 gourmet meals in it. We checked in and stayed on the property till checkout. The kitchen is fully stocked with seasonings. Thank you we really hated to leave.

19th Anniversary

Wonderful cabin!! Small but cozy. Nice hanging swing on patio. Had small patio heater, it was hard to get lit, knob didnt work well,, but we did get it. Take your own small propane bottles. Hot tub was awesome!!

The place was filthy!

There was grass and candy wrappers all over the floor. The bathroom was disgusting, poop remnants and dried pee on lid and bowl of toilet. Shower had hair and grime in it. Toothpaste splatters on mirror and sink. The most disgusting thing was the bed, hair, dead bugs and no telling what else on the sheets. Air conditioning filters were filthy. Light bulbs were out in both the living room and bedroom. No washcloths nor was there any dish soap We went and bought new pillows, sheets and bedspread also cleaning supplies and washcloths! Not happy with this place

I am a life long resident of El Paso, a couple hour drive from my cabin. I try to make it up as much as i can, but life doesn't allow me. So i rent out cabin to help with cost.

Why they chose this property

My cabin is located in the middle of the Lincoln National Forrest,just right out out town so you feel like your up in the mountains, but close enough to run to town. Great views, wild life cross property(deer, elk, wild horses). I am just 20 minutes to the top of Ski Apache. the White Mountain Wilderness, is great for hiking , horse back riding.
