About this property

Villa La Torre's comfortable, self-contained *Seguito* apartment is rented with TWO DOUBLE BEDROOMS. A cot or infant sleeping arrangements can be available upon request.

The kitchen/dining area included new modern appliances throughout: full washing, laundering, cooking facilities, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. French doors from the kitchen/diner and bedroom one lead onto exclusive-use jasmine covered patio area for al fresco dining area. All set in secure two-acre beautiful private gardens. The private swimming-pool is at the end of the garden.

There will be no other guests staying at the property, or sharing the pool*. A caretaker is available and visits to take care of pool cleaning and any general maintenance needed, as well any help or advice.

Unfortunately disappointed

Our stay was unfortunately a disappointment. Very quickly we found that the property was quite neglected. There were many small things that confirmed that. To name a few... The hygiene in the kitchen was poor. Actually I am not that picky. But the cupboards were dirty, the dishes were still filthy with food leftovers form past visitors. The dishwasher, we had to clean ourselves first (ugh), holes in the sofa blanket, dirty or missing lampshades. The bench at the dining are is dilapidated and the garden is far from well-kept. Of course, we take into account the heat of the summer, but... The very big point was definitely the actually beautiful pool. The pool pump broke on about the 4th day of our stay and was not repaired until the evening before we left. Until then, the pool was not cleaned, which was actually part of the service. We tried it ourselves, but it was impossible given the sizes. The result was a greasy mass of dead insects and leafs - unusable. The owner, with whom we had an exchange on this points and who promised us compensation, quickly shirked her responsibility after our stay. Something can always go wrong, but this was not a fair thing to do. In the end we are sorry to say that the condition of the property and the service promised did not match what was advertised. Even the manager on site, who tried his best confirmend that the property is not in condition for renting. So disappointed before all the non-honourable behavior of the owner. Too bad

Again amazing

After a very good first time in 2019, we had decided to return to this beautiful place. And again it was amazing. The location is perfect, really nice and quite. The pool is great and all for yourself. And the owner Christine is the most lovely and helpfull host So far. We had a wonderfull time and will recommand it to everyone!

Erholung und Erleben pur

Wie schon mehrfach beschrieben ist es ein wundervolles, sehr gut gelegenes Objekt, wo man Ruhe und Sonne genießen kann. Jeden Abend zeigen sich Fasane, Rehe und Wildschweine in unmittelbarer Nähe. Für Ausflüge ist die Lage genial. Interessante Orte, wie Assisi, Perugia, Montepulciano befinden sich in unmittelbarer Nähe. Selbst Siena, Florenz und Rom sind recht schnell erreichbar. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und können das Objekt guten Gewissens jederzeit weiter empfehlen.

Ein Traum!

Es waren wundervolle Ferientage in diesem ruhigen und komfortablen Haus. Wir haben an Ausstattung nichts vermisst, und selbst für das erste Frühstück war schon vorgesorgt. Die Hauptattraktion ist der große Pool, der zum Schwimmen geeignet war. Er wurde täglich gepflegt. Der Standort des Hauses war gut geeignet für unsere längeren Ausflüge nach Perugia, Montepulciano, Orvieto und sogar Siena. Pauline war immer ansprechbar und hifsbereit. Nochmals vielen dank! Seit fast 25 Jahren verbringen wir unseren Urlaub meist in Ferienhäusern, aber dieses ist absolut Spitze. A dream! It was a wonderful holiday in this quiet and comfortable house. We did not miss anything and even the first breakfast was taken care of. The main attraction was the large pool, suitable for swimming. It was maintained daily.The location of the house was well suited for our longer trips to Perugia, Montepulciano, Orvieto and even to Siena. Pauline was always approachable and helpful. Thank you once again! For about 25 years we often go in holiday homes, but this one is absolutely top.

Great garden/pool, but too hot for us

The garden and pool are wonderfull. We really enjoyed our days at the large and beautifull pool. The appartement it self is also nice, but too small for five (three children). We were in the middle of a heat wave, so it was hot. At night it was too hot and no sufficient way to cool/ventilate the house. No decent musquito nets, so opening windows meant the musquito's would come. Too hot when it is 30 degrees at 11 p.m. We didn't cook inside not to get any more heat into the appartement. Communication with the owner and agent was very good, they really tried to make it as comfortable as possible. Thanks! Garden was beautifull, but all dried up, even though there is an extensive irrigation system (that did not work).

After many visits to Italy,discovering Umbria was an inspiration, and finding a disused tobacco drying tower, in a perfect location,
was the ideal project.The local people are welcoming and generous.Various music festivals take place around the lake,with many good restaurants to enjoy.

Private & sole use of the pool. Beautiful decor.The Villa is reached by a private lane,off Via Trasimeno, giving tranquilty, but with easy access to all the villages and beaches around the stunning Lake Trasimeno. Helpful advise if required.
