About this property

Creekside Cabin Walking Distance To Downtown Manitou Springs Lic#9244

This little cabin is on a property with 2 other cabins right on the river and a short walk from penny arcades, a zip line, shops, bars and restaurants in downtown Manitou Springs. The cabin itself has its own deck overlooking the river and is an extremely quiet peaceful setting with 200 ft trees overhead. The entire cabin has been remodeled with a new kitchen all new electrical, flooring and new bathroom. This one bedroom one bath cabin offers all the amenities you would want or need and even has a sleeper couch, a brand new SMART TV and all new stainless steel appliances . Hang out on your own back deck and enjoy a nice coffee in the morning while taking in the sounds of the adjacent river or cook out on the BBQ and enjoy a nice dinner on our picnic table. Too tired to cook, no problem! A few blocks walk and you are right in the middle of town with all sorts of food and beverage choices not to mention great shopping and a penny arcade.

Relaxing
The cottage was wonderful. Although the mattress made it difficult for two people to sleep as it sank to the middle. Also the walkway at night was dark so it was easy to trip over the pavers. We do hope to return and enjoy this place again. We would greatly recommend this place.

Perfect location
The cabin was great! This was such a perfect location for us. It was within walking distance of downtown Manitou Springs, and short driving distances from the things we wanted to see. I was able to walk my dog from the cabin to the nearby park. The cabin is small. Perfect for a couple or a couple with a baby. The river runs right behind, and you can sit on the deck, listening to the rushing water. Beautiful! Everything we needed was provided, and we were satisfied with most everything. Manitou Springs was very charming, and I would encourage anyone looking for a place close to everything in the area (Pike's Peak, Manitou Incline, Garden of the Gods, Cave of the Winds, etc.) to consider this place.

Manitou Springs
We enjoyed the proximity of the cabin to the downtown area. Also enjoyed the stream that runs behind the property. Close to everything we were interested in visiting while in the area.

Great location, view fantastic, could us some upgrades...uneven floors created a tripping hazard. But loved the place overall, great bed and pillows!!!...we would recommend

Great location.
This cabin is located perfectly in town. Very close to everything but far enough to be quiet. Loved the back deck the most. Spent a lot of time there. Will be back.

After Seth had retired from going to three Olympic games, we decided that we had more than sports and a love of fencing in common. Turns out, Seth and I have a passion for homes. We bought this home as a project to work on together after we had already completely remodeled another home. Turns out, remodeling a home and two cabins built in 1891 is a whole new level of difficult. But, we did it and this home is our labor of love!!We do hope you enjoy our recently finished product!

Why they chose this property

Both Seth and I LOVE Manitou Springs! Manitou is such a wonderful little town that really does a great job of providing fun activities and festivals year round. From Arts Festivals, to Marathons, to Coffin Races Manitou Springs is a happening place year round. What's more, we took one look at the creek and just how relaxing it was to sit and hear the sound of the water and enjoy the huge trees overhead while also being in the middle of town and we were all in!

What makes this property unique

It really is a special treat to be within walking distance to everything and yet feel as though you can get away from it all with just a short walk back to your home away from home.
