About the property

Eastern Shore Gem--Now Accepting Rental Inquiries for 2018 Season

BelleAire Landing is the perfect Chesapeake Bay retreat for a family vacation or a group of friends to get away from it all. The house sits on 1 and 1/2 acres within a 17 acre tract on the banks of the Choptank River. Enjoy your days outside under the many shade trees, lounging on an Adirondack chair above your own private 400+ foot sandy beach, or watching spectacular sunrises and sunsets from the covered porch where there are views of more than two miles of water.

Bring your kayak, canoe, sailboat, bass boat (with small motor) or tow a small runabout. There are numerous small creeks to explore, so don't forget your fishing gear or crab nets. Cycling is also enjoyed throughout the region. If you are also considering waterfowl hunting, there are duck and goose hunting packages available. The blind is approximately 30 yards offshore, directly in front of the property. Call to learn more as well as to check on open dates.

Newly renovated, this 3-bedroom home offers one-level living with a private bedroom wing, and lovely open concept living and dining. High ceilings, generous room sizes, and tasteful, uncluttered decorating, make the home very comfortable for a diverse group. Rinse off in the outdoor shower and come in from the heat. There is a pool table and an indoor shuffle-board, poker/card table, games, puzzles, books and DVD's to 'borrow' while you are here as well as comfortably furnished space for gathering or leisure.

Boats can be anchored on the beach or just above the wall if easily lifted. A put-in on an inland canal, which opens into the river, is available, if necessary. All can fish and crab from your boats, the beach and the bank running along the canal. Boat house and crab house are off-limits.

Peace and relaxing

  • 5 of 5

Very well kept, secluded property that is still convenient to all that is Cambridge. It is its own "beach-front" property right on the Choptank which allows for private lounging and swimming. The sunsets are stellar and we were able to see deer and foxes coming out at dusk each night. Our family stayed here for the Eagleman race and we found it very convenient to get into Cambridge for the race and surrounding activities. We ended up staying a few days longer than we initially wanted to but were very happy we did. Our 2 and 5 year olds loved running outside and playing in the sand and in the river. The house itself was well kept and had ample space. The weather fortunately was good our entire stay, but if we were stuck inside there were plenty of activities to do and room to do them. This could definately house a larger group comfortably. We would definately consider renting this property again on any future trips to the Eastern Shore.

Stunning waterfront view great for a family retreat

  • 4 of 5

We just spent four nights with our two boys (5 and 2 years old) and had a wonderful stay. The view is phenomenal and the boys loved the shallow water and white sand beach. The house is specious and the beds confortable. Plenty of games to play with too. It's a great place to stay with family and/or friends. Patricia is really helpful and responsive and we recommend her house to anyone who wants a nice escape from a busy life! The only recommandation we would make is to come ready with bug spray as there is no mosquito nets on the patio and we've all been eaten quite a bit!

Beautiful private property with lots of wildlife living on it. Hunting lodge, mens club vib, pool table and shuffleboard tables where a hit. Only things to make it better is a 2nd bathroom and a screened porch. Beach is beautiful.

Sisters get away

  • 5 of 5

We all absolutely love this place. The pictures do it no justice. My first impression was the. feeling of a "man's " cabin. It didn't bother my sisters Or I that it lacked a feminine touch "bad"

We found it kind of charming. It has everything you want... In a matter fact kinda way. It will be our returning destination from this year forward Thank you

Excellent waterfront spot for families.

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here with friends and my 4yo son. Everyone had a great time! The beach was a lot of fun - all sand, no seaweed, mud, or jellyfish. There are plenty of beach and yard toys in the closet. Yard is huge - great for football/soccer/frisbee.

Gorgeous views and sunsets. Grill was enjoyed. Outdoor shower was a wonderful idea!

We didn't spend much time inside, but the big screen with cable, dvd library, pool, shuffleboard, board games, etc. would provide plenty of entertainment for rainy days. A/C works well.

Kitchen is well stocked, and has a wonderful big picture window view of the beach.

Owners were very friendly and great to communicate with.
