This townhouse is an end unit in a quiet family subdivision, with two designated parking spaces just steps away from the front door. There is a full bathroom downstairs off the master bedroom, and a second full bathroom upstairs. There is also a half-bath on the main floor.
There are lots of restaurants and shopping centers all around this subdivision. One thing that makes this space super convenient for travelers is that it is located just off of an exit of Interstate 40. Many people come to Greensboro for events at the Greensboro Coliseum or the Aquatics Center. Both are an easy 6 miles/11 minutes away! It takes about 12 minutes to drive to downtown, and 11-13 minutes to arrive at the colleges close to downtown (UNCG, Greensboro College, ATT). High Point, home of High Point University and the Furniture Market, is 11 miles away.
The private community pool is a short 3 minute walk away. It is open from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend, although some years, if the weather is warm enough, it will open the weekend prior to Memorial Day weekend and stay open for 1-2 weeks longer in September.
When you walk in the door into the living room, you'll first notice the soaring ceiling that is open to the loft/3rd bedroom above. The sunlight pours into the kitchen/dining area all morning and again in the late afternoon. The main bedroom and second bedroom are on the north side, thankfully, so the sun doesn't hit those windows directly and won't wake you up if you want to sleep in a tad. All three bedrooms have queen beds.
I also have two twin air beds that could be set up in any of the bedrooms, which works for families with small kids who can share a bedroom with their parents, so I've indicated that the townhouse accommodates eight as far as sleeping space. But please note that I don't have a large dining area or a large dining room table. I only have an eat-in kitchen with a table that seats four comfortably, or seats six if you pull it away from the wall and put chairs on the ends. So if you have a group of seven eight, you wouldn't all be able to eat at the table at the same time :-)
This is a basic, comfortable place with dishes & appliances you'll need to cook simple meals. Total area is ~1350 square feet. I've had two families easily share the space for a week, with one set of parents in each bedroom and the kids in the loft bedroom or on the twin airbeds.
I have a great internet connection and a "Smart TV" with an HDMI cable to connect to your laptop for easy web surfing. I added a Spectrum cable package in January 2019.
