About this property

Across the street from Lake Macatawa and tge Ottawa Beach General Store, and just a short 5 min walk to the Holland State Park and Lake Michigan! Private historic boardwalk to private beach! Kayak launch actoss the street and many great fishing locations across the street or 5 min walk to channel! Groceries and ice cream, fishing bait just across the street (the General Store is getting renovated but will be open in May all brand new!!). New museum and boardwalk just across the street! New marina and boat launch just a short walk down the street. We have 3 bedrooms- king bedroom with queen futon , queen bedroom main level and twin bed with queen in lower level bedroom. 2 full baths, attached 2 stall garage and room for 3 cars in the drive. Beautiful beachy decor with 50 in. LCD TV in main room Internet and cable. Flat screen TV's in each bedroom as well. Linens and towels provided, washer and dryer, outdoor gas fire pit and BBQ. Wrap around deck to sit and watch all the action! Fenced in backyard. Plus separate Rec Room with ping pong and seating to chill! Several yard games. Beach wagon, beach toys, beach towels and beach chairs provided.

Our Second Stay of (Hopefully) Many

We just got home from a 9 night stay and are already looking forward to the next time. The location of this property is fantastic, right across the street from the Ottawa Beach General Store, a short walk to the public or private beaches, next door to Dune Dogs (a cute little food stand), Mt. Pisgah trailhead a few steps down from there, just a beautiful neighborhood. The house is well kept, well appointed, and unique. Nancy and John have been wonderful to work with. Very highly recommended.

Great town, great location

Can’t beat the location and everything you need was provided. We especially loved the backyard game shed, the bikes and fire pit. The beach was so close It was a perfect vacation!!

Fun at the beach

LOCATION says it all. Walkable to Lake Michigan and a few restaurants nearby. Small market across the street. Hiking trails within easy distance too.

Wonderful place to stay

Second visit for us since we love this place! Close enough to walk to beach, good kitchen, great outdoor area. Close to grocery, drug store and restaurants. Very responsive host.

Why they chose this property

The Beach House is unique in that it is a more modern cottage with a beachy feel. We enjoy the bright pastel colors and hope you feel at home too. Large balcony to sit and people watch or enjoy the sunshine! Nice quiet fenced in backyard with fire pit and yard for games.

What makes this property unique

Our cottage is unique because it is close to the beach less than 1/4 mile away, the General Store and many hiking/biking trails. There is also a quiet lakeside park across the street where you can fish or launch a kayak. There is also a little marina where you could rent a boat slip.
