Lovely place for a weeks break from motorhoming. We’ve loved relaxing by the pool, watching Olympics on the TV and running our own silly Olympics in the garden. Good cycling around here too. Thanks Daryl and Nikki you are very welcoming and supportive hosts.

Every thing you need for a beautiful relaxing break. Fully equipped, spotless rooms. Fresh crisp linen. Lovely outdoor bbq area with plenty of seating, whilst not being overlooked. Lovely pool with plenty of sun beds surrounded by beautiful lawns and plants. Short walk into the local town with an array of shops and restaurants. Can't wait to visit again.
Nikki and Darryl were very welcoming, the accommodation was great and an amazing location within walking distance of a wide range of bars and restaurants. The addition of outdoor table tennis table was a great idea and we all had fun on that as well as cooling off in the pool. We are already looking forward to going back next year would highly recommend
I thought this property in Les Eyzies was good value. Centrally located for day trips to Rocamadour, Sarlat, Perigueux and many of les belles villes de france, we were also within easy walking distance to the town centre restaurants and amenities. Font de gaume entrance is incredibly close by, and you will appreciate that given the line up and wait system required to get in. Still, it was a privilege to see the cave paintings.
Word of advice to travellers from North America: it may be a UK expat gîte thing, but be prepared to supply soap and TP -- as if you were camping. We didn't find that to be the case with French hosts elsewhere in SW France.
Le Bugue market on Tuesday, Sarlat on Saturday -- Limeuil any day for ambience. Very lovely. Highly recommend a visit to Laroque Gageac.
Host Daryl was accessible and informative.
We stayed in La Petite Maison which was beautifully cool in the unseasonally hot weather. Although one of 3 adjacent properties it was very private. We had everything we needed, nearby supermarket would be within walking distance in cooler weather. Les Eyzies is a lovely, large village, bustling and good restaurants so this is a great place to stay. FInding out about Cave art in the area was fascinating. A great area to stay for a holiday. Owners Daryl and Nikki extremely helpful and friendly. A super place to stay.
Super gite, well presented, lovely decorative touches. A home from home. Thoughtful welcome pack, lots of books (english) to read so no need to bring any. A great bag with beach towels provided, fabulous grounds and swimming pool, lots of equipment and toys for children. Owners lovely and very helpful, they are at the gite most days but not at all intrusive. Can walk to the village took us about 15 minutes, so you can leave the car behind, lots of places to eat and drink there. Prehistoric caves and museums in walking distance as well as more a short car ride away. Markets and pretty villages to visit in the locality.
Having driven with my wife and dog from England, we entered the property to find adequate parking and a picturesque setting. We stayed in the Petite Maison which had plenty of character. The facilities were good and layout was excellent.
The local town is great with plenty of restaurants and information on activities.
We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend to our friends.
Thank you Darrel and Nikki for your recommendations and a relaxing holiday.
We look forward to retuning in the near future.
All the best,
Regards Oliver and Emma
