Beautiful and spacious home on the banks of the Missouri River in Central Montana. The house is 2300 sq ft of comfort and accommodations. We've included everything we thought would make your stay pleasant and memorable. The kitchen and dining room are open and there is an additional stove-top island for additional entertaining. The grounds are lined with mature trees and lush grass and has a beautiful view of both the river and the mountains. We see lots of wildlife, including deer, bald eagles, bears, minks, raccoons, moose and of course, fish.

We are 4th generation Montanans. We have 3 children and 1 grandchild who also love being on the river and in the mountains. We are fisherman, hunters, hikers, boaters, skiers, gardeners and anything else outdoors.

Why George or Cathy, Owners & Property Managers chose Cascade
We have, for a long time, wanted to get 'back to the mountains' and saw this as an opportunity for our families, and yours, to enjoy the beauty of the Mighty Mo and the mountains and the wildlife.
What makes this Lodge unique

Large, very clean, everything was top quality
Owners were very accommodating. FULLY furnished kitchen and air conditioning were much appreciated
Great place to stay - clean and plenty of space
Very clean and roomy house. The kitchen is very spacious and a great gathering place for eating.
House was very clean and was as advertised. There are three bedrooms with multiple bed per room. Only downside is that one bedroom is in the basement. BBQ was great and cooking outside on the covered deck is fantastic. I would stay here again.
Great large house to sleep up to 10 guys for fishing the Missouri.
Comfortable beds, great cooking appliances and dishes. Good wade fishing just out the door. Would like to have a TV for sports or NrtFlix.
Nice accommodations, but inconvenient location
Accommodations were nice, very well-equipped kitchen. Wireless internet relatively poor (very slow, couldn't download email attachments or send pictures). Cell service virtually non-existent, except in one corner of the kitchen.
Location not very convenient for services such as grocery store and restaurants. The yard and grounds not very well kept.
Ok if you want a rustic retreat from urban life and you want to be off the grid. Hosts were very gracious and communications before arrival were excellent. We made a poor choice for fishing access renting here. That was our mistake, however, not a black mark in the lodge. Overall, nice people and nice lodging, but very inconvenient for what we wanted to do.
Very disappointed by this guest's review. Our lodge is far from "rustic". The house is modern with updated appliances and TV. The grounds are manicured and watered as soon as Mother Nature allows. No, we are not near Wal-Mart (thank goodness). We are located half-way between Helena and Great Falls. Although slow at times, we do all of our business on our phones or laptops. We have a whole-house cellphone booster and we get cell service throughout the house. And, best of all, the lodge is immaculate. We pride ourselves on having the cleanest place on the river. We have such a good reputation for our cleaning ability that other lodge owners have asked us to clean their lodges. We keep the kitchen stocked with basics and an abundance of spices. You won't be disappointed if you stay here!
Warm welcome, comfortable home
We were thrilled to stay with Cathy & George in their spacious, quiet, and well-laid out home. Right on a calm section of the Mo, we waded and cast from the bank. Ample, sunny kitchen with all necessary for meals, gas grill on porch, big washer/dryer/detergent, clean as a whistle throughout, big bathrooms with great towels, comfortable sitting areas - and I had the privilege of the Sleep Number bed!
Cathy greeted us, and together we lamented the only disappointment: sketchy internet service as the home is in the Missouri canyon. Early mornings the signal was sufficient to get us online but evenings (more users?) no luck. We had lots to read and it was actually fine to miss some of the sordid political drama for a few days.
We're grateful for a restful, easy stay, and hope to return for October fishing! Many thanks for all the thoughtful details and touches!
We are located only 9 miles from the resort town of Craig, Montana: The fly fishing hub of the Missouri River Corridor in northcentral Montana. The Lodge is easily accessible from I-15 and a 1/4 mile on a paved Recreation Road. The Lodge has an easy walking path to the Missouri River where you can put in your canoes, kayaks, rafts or tubes. Easy access to a most supreme stretch of fishing on the Missouri.
