Clean, Cozy, and Convenient

  • 5 of 5

We were in Annapolis 4 days for senior night for our son who plays football for Navy. This is the 4th house we have rented in DTA. While it was smaller than what we normally rent, it was very clean, nicely furnished, and had everything we needed. Our son was able to spend one night so we had 3 people with ample room to visit. The location is approximately a 15 minute walk to Gate 1 on the yard and a 5-10 minute walk anywhere downtown. We had no trouble finding parking and would recommend working with Jackie to get a temporary parking pass for your length of stay. If you have stayed in a house/apt. near DTA you will probably know that steep stairs are very common. This apartment is on the second floor and the stairs are very steep with good handrails so take that into consideration if you have someone in your party with mobility issues. Jackie was great to work with and provided excellent directions to access the apartment, work the heating/AC controls and hot water. The photos and reviews are very accurate. What you see is what the apartment looks like. I would have no issue recommending this property to friends. It is an excellent apartment and location to have a great time in Annapolis!

We were visiting for commissioning week and it was nice to be able to walk to most sites and activities. We needed to extend our stay an extra day and the owner worked with us to make that happen.Would recommend staying her for a small family or few adults

Like our home away from home in Annapolis!

  • 5 of 5

This is the 3rd or 4th time we have stayed in Jackie's apartment and since our son still has 2 1/2 years left at USNA it won't be the last. The location a couple of blocks off the main street and 10 minute walk to Gates 1 and 3 of USNA makes it ideal for us. When we travel to Annapolis it is usually my husband and me with our 17 year old son and by the time our Mid joins us, 4 full grown adults is just too much for a hotel room. The price of this entire apt is comparable to a downtown hotel room and certainly more economical than getting 2 rooms. This apartment gives us enough space to hang out and the bedroom allows some to go sleep early or take a nap while others can stay up or socialize. The towels and sheets are high quality and there are plenty of blankets in the closet to keep everyone warm. This trip our son brought a friend along so we used the roll away bed and the 5 of us still had plenty of room. The water heater provided plenty of hot water for the 5 of us. It was pretty cold (upper 30's)when we arrived for this Army Navy Game weekend and Jackie had left the heat set at 60 degrees. It took a little bit for the heating units to come up to a more comfortable temperature but it stayed comfortably warm for the rest of the weekend. It felt great when we returned from the game in Baltimore after sitting in the near freezing weather all day at the game! This apartment is not decorated like it is a rental property but more like it's a home. This unit is different than other rentals we have used in that Jackie always has tissues, TP, paper towels, hand soap, dish detergent, and usually even a little coffee on hand so you can just show up and have all the essentials. We are usually out and about and our visits are usually short so we have never really used the kitchen (who can resist all the great restaurants in DTA?!) but it would be easy to prepare a nice meal with all the necessary items available. The wifi works great. We have had good luck taking our chances with street parking and on occasion have paid to park in the lot that is one block up the street. We have always stayed in the front apt but it is nice to know there is another one in the back in case this one is booked. Overall this is a great place, Jackie is very responsive to messages and we are glad we found this rental at the beginning of our son's time at USNA. I now feel like it is our "home" when we visit Annapolis!

Perfect stay! Our apartment was in a very convenient neighborhood, close to everything we enjoy in Annapolis. Instructions for entering were easily followed, apartment was clean and well appointed and everything was in working order. We will probably request again next time visiting Annapolis.
