Disappointed
While the value of the stay was good taking into consideration its location and the price paid, we were disappointed in a number of ways which more than offset the value. Home was not cleaned very well upon arrival, i.e. dirty windows, dirty deck furniture, floors, carpeting. Undried laundry was left in the dryer. We had to make a number of repairs to multiple doors, one to prevent someone from locking themselves in a room. Silverware was dated and mismatched. Electrical outlets in two baths did not function and no attempt was made (after informing owner) to repair and had over a week to do so. One front door lock was non functioning. Grill with no propane tank. Garage had a musty and rancid smell. Light timer in front room did not function as it had a piece missing. A number of screens in pool area were not attached, Had to clean pool of worms more than once. We had to repair and clean out the vacuum cleaner. Some lightbulbs were burnt out. Owner was good in replying to emails, property managers did not reach out once. While some of these things sound trivial, a Super Host property should be nearly flawless with unrivaled service; we received neither.
