Great place to stay. Very nice accommodations.
Very nice property. Clean and great location.
Beautiful home - fantastic weekend`
We fell in love with this place! Our family got together for the weekend to celebrate our parents' 50th Anniversary and we couldn't have picked a better place. From the spaciousness, to the cleanliness to the games and hot tub, no one wanted to leave. We decided we would like to make this a yearly tradition. Thank you for a wonderful stay and the smooth way everything was handled!
4500+ square feet of heaven!
Fabulous getaway for my husband and me, our three grown kids and their spouses, and our grandkids. Master suite downstairs was perfect for grandma and grandpa, with auntie and uncle in other bedroom downstairs, and the two families upstairs in gigantic rooms with their own bathrooms and bunkbeds galore. Hot tub a plus, property is quiet, secluded, yet close to town and right across from McCall golf course! Kitchen has anything you could need. This place even has dual washer/dryers! Will definitely be back!!
Joni- What a great review! Thanks for staying and bringing your fabulous family with you. We hope to host you again.
Annual family get together
Great house! Everything was as good as advertised. We had family from Idaho, Texas and Oregon. Couldn't be happier.
Steve and Sara
Walter- sounds like you had a full house and a wonderful time. Hope to host you again! Thanks for staying with Frost Cabins
Great house for large gathering
This home was near perfect for our family to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. Plenty of room, lots of things to do and games to play to keep everyone entertained. We golfed, swam, kayaked, hiked, played pool, air hockey, and foosball.
Ron- Sounds like you all wore yourselves out! Happy 50th and your family is welcome back to any one of our homes. Thanks! Frost Cabins
As advertised. As adults renting a house, the house “rules” can be a bit comical, like you’re on a Boy Scout retreat subject to the watchful gaze of overbearing parents. Not that the rules should in any way limit your experience (unless you imagine you’re mature enough to soak in a hot tub for longer than 15 minutes at a time!). Couple small issues: we weren’t able to control the thermostat, and it was quite hot upstairs at night; also, the place sleeps 16 or 18 or whatever, and should therefore have silverware of all varieties sufficient to supply that many guests—we had 15 and had a hard time with this. WiFi was also in and out at times, but rebooting the router seemed to kick it back into gear. These few small nuisances are the only reason for four stars instead of five. Everything else about the place was great.
Thank you for staying at Timber Creek Lodge in McCall. I wish we didn't have to ask guests to follow any guidelines or rules at all. As you might imagine, each rule we ask guests to follow has been created because more than one guest had a question or did something that caused a need for the rule to be created. The posted hot tub guidelines are mostly recommendations (e.g. how long a person should be in the hot tub). The posted quiet time rules are enforced, however. We want to be good neighbors. There are some folks who live around the area full-time and they will contact me or the police if they feel a group is being too loud, too late into the evening. That rule is posted to help you avoid any unpleasant encounters during your stay. To control the thermostats (there are 3), simply press the up or down buttons. I checked on them and the A/C blew cold. Regarding silverware: I checked on this and concluded you may not have seen the labeled second drawer of silverware just below the first drawer. I ensured there is ample supply of each variety.
As a note to any future guests who may be reading this: This guest did not make me aware of his concerns until I read his review 2 weeks after his stay.
Last week someone said the can opener had broken and they needed one the next day for a special dinner they were preparing. Instead of writing about it in their review a couple of weeks later, they reached out to me and simply let me know. Within an hour I had them a new can opener. PLEASE reach out to me right away when you have a concern. I am here to do my best to help you have an enjoyable stay. Thanks!
Located right on McCall's Public Golf Course- rated one of the best 27 hole courses in the world!
