|Minimum Stay||7 nights|
Sleeps up to four
A one bedroom, twin bed apartment with French doors opening into the garden.
The apartment has a twin room (which can be turned into a double on request), a kitchen-living room and a separate shower room. The apartment has a sofa bed which can sleep two taking the maximum occupancy to 4 people.
There is direct access to a laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer (also perfect for drying ski wear and ski boots) and the garage for storing skis, mountain bikes, golf clubs etc.
The Main Chalet and apartments are available individually or as a block booking. This flexible layout allows for accommodation from two to sixteen people.
The chalet is situated in a quite cul-de-sac five minutes walk from the village centre and the lift station serving the Mont d’Arbois ski area, and ten minutes walk from the ski lift serving the Rochebrune ski area.
Megève Chalet is in a traditional Savoyard town that has a pedestrianised centre around a 13th century medieval church. With interesting narrow streets to explore and a wide variety of boutiques, delicatessens, bars and restaurants, Megève is still occupied by many of the original families such as the Perinets and Grossets but with all the amenities of a modern ski resort.
We had a brilliant week staying in this apartment, which has everything you need, nice linens & towels and the owners even provide hotel-style toiletries which is a nice touch. The building set-up works very well with a room for skis and a separate warm room for boots / damp ski wear.
The house is a 7 minute walk to the town centre & lift and easily accessible, meaning that you can get up on the slopes very quickly. This worked well for our group as various people in the group wanted to go up the mountain / come back at different times of the day. We had 4 days of beautiful sunshine and then 16 inches of fresh powder while we were there, so absolutely perfect conditions.
Megeve town centre is lovely, loads of restaurants & bars to choose from and lots of supermarkets, which made self-catering very easy. All in all a great stay, we will definitely be back - thank you!
My fiancée and I had a lovely relaxing stay. The apartment was small but very cosy and big enough for 2 and the interior was high quality. The bed was exceptionally comfortable with great quality linens. Lucy was great to deal with during the booking process, and Valerie was superb throughout, even helping us with a very early morning transfer back to Geneva. Megeve is a beautiful village and given the time of year, the slopes were deserted with some of the best skiing I have ever experienced. My only comment for note was the lack of English channels available on the TV and the intermittent WI fi (we were told that it was a generic resort reception issue) but these were not a major issue as there is plenty in the village to do in the evening and there is a DVD player. All in all an excellent stay and we will definitely return.
What can we say - what a fantastic find!
We stayed on Apartment 1 of this beautiful property - it was such a peaceful and private hideaway, tastefully furnished and very cosy!. Fantastic shower and a huge comfy bed. Easy walk to the ski slopes and to the very picturesque village centre. We have skied many, amy resorts in the past 20 years and this is one of the best ski holidays we have ever had. It was very difficult to leave.
The owners were very helpful and everything from booking to leaving the property went without a hitch.
Thank you so much - We highly recommended this property!!
