beautiful remote property.

We had a wonderfully relaxing week at this tranquil mountain retreat. Horses, ponds, fishing and hiking on 180 acres was amazing. The cabin was perfect, and so was the weather!

Beautiful and Tranquil!

  • 5 of 5

Had a great time to getaway with my wife and kids from the hustle and bustle of life! Kids thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful space, feeding the goats and horses, and just running around! Loved the sound of the river! The beds were comfortable and cozy! Plenty of cookware, although I’d loved to have had a large cast iron pan, the small one provided was great to roast chestnuts on an open fire! Also had a griddle that made breakfast easy and crockpot which I kept hot chocolate in to have throughout the day! The fireplace was beautiful and had access to plenty of Netflix and Hulu for the kiddos when needed! Overall truly loved it and would definitely return!

One word...BEAUTIFUL!

  • 5 of 5

The property and the River house are absolutely amazing! We met the horses right after we unpacked and strolled around the property for a little while. Dahlonega and various hiking trails are all within 30 minutes or you can just explore the property if you don’t feel like driving. We had two college girls with us (my daughter and her friend) so they were bummed about the WiFi not working, but that was more of an inconvenience than a problem.

Tami was responsive and very nice.

I highly recommend staying here and we will definitely be back!

Nice secluded cabin on beautiful Suches Creek with view of surrounding property. Hike in/hike out!

  • 4 of 5

Loved staying at this cabin off the beaten path in the north GA mountains - half way between Blue Ridge and Dahlonega on curvy Hwy 60! Great place if you like lots of privacy, listening to the rushing water of a trout stream while relaxing on a huge screened porch, building a big toasty fire in the fireplace, hiking across the mountain or along the creek, cooking your own meals, and totally chillaxin!

Beautiful, Relaxing Place

  • 5 of 5

Loved the cabin! We especially enjoyed sitting out on the patio in the mornings listening to the stream while we rocked in the rocking chairs. Also enjoyed walking our little dog around the property and visiting the two horses. The guy taking care of them was very nice and let us feed them some carrots we had brought for them. The cabin was well stocked with dishes, pots, pans, spices, etc. Enjoyed being able to relax on the comfy sofa and watch netflix in the evening. Wifi was useful since we had no internet on our phones in the cabin. Nice, comfy beds including two king size ones.

The cabin felt secluded but was fairly close to a lot of things to do. We spent time in Dahlonega, Amicalola Falls, Anna Ruby Falls, Brasstown Bald, Blue Ridge, Vogel State Park, visited Mercier Apple Orchard for some fried pies, apples and cider and drove to Murphy, NC to see the total eclipse.

Overall a wonderful vacation, and we were sad to leave. Hope to be back soon!!
