Located in a very nice, quite neighborhood and close to everything.

Very clean and very comfortable beds.

Shared by four lady friends.

Our only complaint was occasional ants and spiders. I think the place should be professionally sprayed.

Nice quiet neighborhood

This property is located in a quiet neighborhood with similar size homes. HUGE kitchen, small living and decent size bedrooms. I would have given the property 5 stars except for the lack of dressers in the bedrooms. In the master bedroom there is an uncomfortable sofa where a dresser could easily be located and there is room for one in the second bedroom also so space is not the issue. It would have been nice to unpack and not have to live out of a suitcase.

Owner's Response: We agree....Casa Gomez has so much to offer. We are currently looking for 2 dressers for the bedrooms. Everyone has different ideas of what works, and we have decided to make those dressers happen!

Good location, oddly furnished, lacks storage

Oddity: bedrooms have small closets, no dressers or other furniture with drawers or counter tops. #2 bath tiny, cramped. MBR king bed too large for space, hard to make. No spare bedding, towels. Nice kitchen. No desk or other work surface equipped for computers. Front door lacks working deadbolt; pointed out to owner but not fixed.

Good location, LR/DR. Attractiveness reduced by many small defects.

Owner's Response: This home is a restored 1935 authentic adobe home. These homes have interesting and somewhat charming details. Having 2 bathrooms is a luxury in such a quaint home. The bedrooms are very large (not mentioned). King beds are preferred by almost all renters, so complaint about this has never been registered and we are surprised he mentioned cramped when there are nightstands on each side as well as sofa on opposite end of bedroom. This is a 1450 sqft home. Bedroom 2 has a walk in closet. We did respond to the the door & it worked after the moisture from the rain diminished. Renter told me he realized he only had to lift it a bit to make the deadbolt work.(4 bath towel sets were furnished) Kitchen has large bar stool counter and large dining table that all our residents use for their computers & our fast internet. We responded quickly to all the renter's requests. Long term residents often have expectations that don't apply to short term rentals (Designated work desk, Extra storage). After considering the great price, the age of this home and it's wonderful location. Gomez A is a historic treasure and most of our residents agree!

Beautiful house in a perfect location

This is a great house walking distance to so many wonderful sites in Santa Fe - the Plaza, the Railyard, the State House and more. The house is well equipped and in excellent condition. There are instructions where needed to explain the operation of essential things like the internet, tv's and trash/recycling. Easy parking and a very pleasant patio are added pluses. We liked the house so much we have already recommended it to friends. Thanks for a great stay!

One of the best places I've stayed in Santa Fe

Adobe home stay

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights. It was close to the Plaza & Railyard yet off the main street in a quiet neighborhood. The adobe was well appointed with everything you'd need in a home away from home. We do like to cook our own meals and the kitchen had everything we needed although we did eat out in Santa Fe more than we usually do because of that wonderful yummy chile!
