Property was great, the Condo, not so much!

The Property itself was great, and wonderful location to everything. The Condo/Unit we stayed in was very tired, and needed refurbishing. Here is a list of items... Bathroom Door rubbed on floor, and rotten on bottom, knob missing on stove, patio furniture moldy and dirty, Pull-Out bed terrible, Bed Frame in Master is worn, (although the bed itself was very comfortable) Curtain vs. Door in front of washer & dryer (tacky). Could definitely use more beach umbrellas and even chairs down on the beach. Also, a larger sign is needed as to who the chairs and umbrellas were for as it was clear that guests from other locations were using them. We were on the top floor, and there was no cover on the ceiling over the Lanai porch. Also would have been nice to have that part screened in for mosquitos. Now for the good part - Location again was great! Close to shopping, restaurants, grocery store and more. Ariel and Jane (Property Managers) were wonderful and helped in any way they could. Nice to have the coffee and pastries in the a.m. The people we met who were owners of other units were great and very friendly. The overall property was very well maintained, and the grounds were beautiful, and only a short walk to the beach. While we were there they were upgrading and manicuring the grounds. The pool was good and well maintained, although worn, we understand it was due for an upgrade this year. We viewed some of the other units that had been upgraded and they were very nice. The unit we stayed in not so much!

GREAT Stay!!!

Ariel was wonderful, he helped schedule anything extra we wanted to do on the island. Gave us lots of great information over muffins by the pool each day. Even scheduled a cab back to the airport for us upon departure. Short walk to the beach and everywhere on Grace Bay!

Good stay, but many nuisances.

First, the good: - Great location! So muich within walking distance. Rented a car only to get to/from airport and for some exploring. - Beach access and reserved beach area with several nice loungers with umbrellas....usually available, but not always - Onsite assistance/concierge from Ariel...for light daily housekeeping (i.e. vacuuming & garbage removal), borrowing an umbrella, renting a car on Christmas day, etc. - Daily morning croissants and coffee by the poolside - Very quiet during the day and at night - Very nice, quiet, pool area. Usually nobody else using it. Code-access gate for "shortcut" to the beach. Fresh water foot rinser and hose to rinse beach sand. - Lots of Aloe Vera growing along the walkway to pool area....in case you get too much sun. - Amazing, brand new BBQ/grill....spotless, clean, covered area, with lighting - well-equipped kitchen as described...stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, blender, 4-slice toaster, plates, glasses, bowls, cutlery, etc. Now for the many nuisances: - Unit should not be listed as sleeping 4 people as the sofabed is extremely uncomfortable, even for our children (ages 11 and 8) - Our unit was on the top (3rd) floor and there are no elevators....so if you have a lot of luggage, beware!....although Ariel was more than willing to help. - Much of the "stainless steel" cutlery (and the can opener) had major rust spots and could (should) not be used - cheap/hollow "wooden" bathroom door hung/cut too close to floor, has absorbed water and swollen over time and now does not swing freely and gets worse because always touches floor - dryer vent had fallen off (tape dried up) and dryer was venting into the suite. Had to move the washer/dryer out of tight closet to "fix" it ourselves. - bedroom window does not stay open - Canvas canopy covering the patio was torn up , useless for rain. - no screen door on patio - stove/range missing one of the burner control knobs - Lost Internet one day, but were able to connect to another room's WiFi router...weaker signal - No detergent for washer...for 9-night stay, towels never changed, had to use our own detergent to wash them - No paper towels, napkins or basics (salt, pepper, oil, etc.) - Fabric furniture (i.e. sofa & chair, bar stool cushions) were dirty and worn - Bedroom lamp was finicky, didn't always work properly and bedroom itself is kind of dark (even with the lamp) - Under-cabinet counter lighting flickering at times

Everything you need is right here

Ariel was amazing-the property was centrally located-3 minute walk to the best beach in the Caribbean. So much marine life to be viewed from the shore, yet snorkeling right off smiths reef was so colorful. If you have the opportunity. Walk a potcake-get there early to be in line, but the puppies are so worth it. This is a volunteer puppy social time and so worth for a dog fix. Rent a car from grace bay rentals the day you arrive and a day or 2 before you leave. This will give you time to grocery shop and save on taxi. No need for a rental all week. Staying at Inn at Grace Bay gives you a 10% discount on your rental as well. Thursday Fish Fry is a must. The property at Grace Bay was very clean and had everything you needed for your stay. Even a washer and dryer. This is my 4th time here at provencials and I will definitely stay at the Inn at Grace Bay again as everything was right here.

Great location and price for Grace Bay beach!

We loved our stay at the Inn at Grace Bay. The room was clean and spacious, the pool and ground was lovely, and coffee and croissants each morning by the pool was so great!! A short walk to Grace Bay beach was definitely worth the steep difference in price from all the hotels directly on the beach. Very close proximity to Salt Mills, Regent Village, and other shops and restaurants to have lots to do with our little boy. Short drive to great restaurants. We had so much fun - will definitely be back.
