Agriturismo Radicondoli is a quiet place for gaining new strength, allowing for relaxation by the panoramic pool or taking sightseeing day trips, experiencing Tuscan village life, walking in unspoilt, breathtakingly beautiful countryside or exploring the ancient spas scattered around the valley.
Pietro and his family are very warm, generous, positive and fun loving Sardinians who often organise large dinners with friends from neighbouring farms, improvise playing, singing and dancing to which all guests are always invited.
The family likes all guests to make themselves at home. You can take part in farming activities like milking the sheep and making cheese, or enjoy a quiet and relaxing week by the pool.
The price includes linen, towels, water/cooking gas/electricity consumption, wireless Internet connection and cleaning.
Heating is not included and it is charged at 15 Euro per night (from mid October to mid March).
The location of the property is idyllic and the view over Radicondoli is beautiful. The property itself is lovely and Piedro was very helpful with suggestions and is an excellent host. There are a few points which need to be made clear as they have the potential to marr an otherwise wonderful holiday.
Terrazza sits beneath the external seating area of Podera. The noise of people and moving furniture is amplified into the property below which is a problem late at night if people are sat outside above.
The beds are hard and uncomfortable. I appreciate that this is a subjective point but worth checking.
The barbeque is too small for the property and needs replacing.
We really enjoyed our stay and we loved the local area which we explored extensively.
Accommodation was large.
However it was quite cold at night and early mornings. The heating in the property was not quite adequate to heat the property.
The pool was not a heated pool, hence quite cold even in the summer.
The time we went were the horse fly season and we got bitten quite severely by them. Unfortunately during the day we could not go outside of the villa due to the horse flies which were quite vicious.
The surrounding villages were lovely. But unfortunately we could not go walking anywhere.
We just can’t stop talking about this place to all our friends. The location was perfect for day trips, and at the end of each day, we would return to this extraordinary little oasis and relax around the pool while the kids enjoyed themselves. The pictures shown on the website do not make it justice. The view is spectacular!
The accommodations were clean and well kept. It had everything that we needed and made us feel at home.
Pietro and his wife were the perfect hosts. They were always available when you needed them but they also understood the importance of privacy and wanting to enjoy our vacation with our friends. I can still see Pietro’s great smile each time we would see him.
It was a perfect vacation and we would recommend it to anyone.
