Great family getaway

  • 4 of 5

Our family enjoyed this property. We were close enough to the beach and fun actives. But when you want to getaway from the crowds this is the place. We enjoyed crabbing on the pier, bike riding and swimming at the community pool. Thank you Scott for sharing your home, mike and Fay

Waterfront view from every room, very accomodating

  • 5 of 5

If your looking for a Vacation house that's comfortable, beautifully decorated, accommodating with an awesome view of the bay, this house is for you. The sunroom with windows all around was extra special as well as the screened in Gazebo. This house is right on the point with a pier for fishing and crabbing. The crabs (keepers) were plentiful and we enjoyed them for dinner a few nights. My husband tried all week to catch a fish but only the crabs were biting. Mid week our family and 2 year old granddaughter joined us. The beach is only a 10 minute drive away. The community playground and pool, especially the sprinklers was great for the little one - enjoyed by all. Swan Keys is a quiet, friendly community, close to Food Lion, Walgreens, and great restaurants. Go to Harpoon Hanna's for a great meal and pick up some free info books/coupons/maps in their lobby.

Thanks Scott & Loraine! We stayed the week of July 23 to 31 -2016 and left with some great long lasting memories at your beautiful vacation home.

Very nice location and the house was comfortable and well maintained.

  • 5 of 5

Our first impression as soon as we came in the house was the beautiful view from just about anywhere in the house. Nice windows looking out on the water. The house was clean and nicely maintained with comfortable beds and many tvs. We enjoyed crabbing off the dock and dropping our crabpot in the bay with our canoe we brought along. Always a pleasant breeze along the water. Would definitely visit again.

As special thank you to the owner for allowing our daughter and her children to come visit for two nights. This was the children's first visit to the beach and their first real vacation. They had a wonderful time and we greatly appreciate it.

Beautiful house with excellent view!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed in this home from July 2-9, 2016. It is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The windows allow for a beautiful, relaxing view. You are sitting on the point with the house just a few yards away. The kids had fun catching crabs and fishing. It was about a 10 minute drive to Fenwick Island State Park, which we visited three times during our stay. The beach there is less crowded with great parking, showers, and food. We also visited the neighborhood pool a few times, which was excellently maintained. The screened-in gazebo was a great spot to enjoy the evening without the bugs! I would recommend this house to anyone looking for a quiet beach vacation away from the large crowds. I would also recommend bringing kayaks and fishing nets. We bought nets while we were there because the kids loved catching the crabs right from the pier.

Wonderful!

  • 4 of 5

My family and i really enjoyed our stay here. The water view was spectacular from the sunroom while we were having our breakfast or just relaxing. My husband and son had taken several pictures of the view and of the different birds in the area outside by the pier. We enjoyed the gazebo in the evening playing board games. It is a quiet community. Definitely bring bikes, and kayaks. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and overall a very nice place to stay.

Clean, beautifully decorated, very accommodating, serene.

  • 5 of 5

Scott was very responsive to all questions, which were very few because the instructions on what to expect were very clear and the home is integrated with "how to" instructions. The in home instructions allowed for a very relaxing stay, since my kids could more easily self serve :-) and of course I never needed to scratch my head and wonder, hmmmm...how do I work this? The house was very clean and had everything we could have possibly needed. The outside was also clean and well marked with instructions. A very well cared for property, with very welcoming owners. This was our best summer vacation in the 15 years since we've stayed at the beach each summer. Thank you Scott and Lorrainne!!
