No Event Rentals: Absolutely no bachelor/bachelorette parties, parties, or weddings. We strictly enforce this policy to maintain a peaceful atmosphere for all guests and as a courtesy to our neighbors.

Trash Receptacle Guidelines: It is essential to place the blue trash receptacles at the curb on Thursday nights. Failure to comply will result in a $40 per can trash fee for extra or missed pickup services.

Quiet Time: Quiet time is strictly observed after 10:00 PM and before 7:00 AM. We expect all guests to respect this rule and ensure a peaceful environment for everyone's relaxation and enjoyment.

No Street or Grass Parking: To ensure convenience and safety, for you and local residents, there is no street or grass parking allowed. Please make use of the designated parking spaces provided.

Registered Guests Only: For security and comfort reasons, only registered guests are permitted on the property. Unauthorized visitors are not allowed.

Pet Policy: Pets are welcome with pre-approval, as per our insurance policy. However, please be aware that strict rules apply. There is a Pet Fee. Any violation may result in additional charges or termination of your stay.

Wonderful stay

This was a great stay. The place was very clean, easy to access, easy parking, close to restaurants/groceries/gas, easy drive to the City, great communication with the owners. It was peaceful, comfortable, and we were already trying to figure out when we could get back! My dog loved the deer, geese, ducks, birds, and all of the nature around!

Cute house

Property was nice and hosts were very easy to communicate with. Loved sitting on the back deck while working. Ton of deer in the area! Even caught a couple of fish off the dock.

The cottage is in a great location if you want to be on the lake. There is easy access to the nice dock on the property. We had easy communication with the host. However, entry walkway and the steps leading to the cottage deck are slick if wet due to algae growth. Note if you have pets, the gate on the deck does not latch without manually lifting latch for a secure catch. In addition, there are many rules and individual fees accessed if those rules are broken. One of which - you are responsible to pull garbage cans to the street on Thursdays for pickup on Friday. If you fail to do that, if I remember correctly, there is a $40. Fee accessed per can. I understand placing garbage in cans but pulling cans to the street for pickup does not merit a relaxing vacation along with other fees you need to be aware of. I did not find this information when booking - so be sure you check the rule book after arriving to avoid other various fees that you could be charged for.

Most amazing lakeside getaway super close to downtown Nashville! Quiet peaceful and gorgeous!

Do not miss out on this location for your trip to Old Hickory Lake! Home is right on the lake with a huge backyard and private dock. There are deer and fireflies everywhere. The neighborhood is so quiet and peaceful and full of southern charm. The hosts are amazing… they were so quick to respond to any questions we had. The house is immaculate and full of the best hotel type bathroom toiletries and extras! It is so close to everything downtown and an easy drive to the airport!

After two decades of hustling in the construction biz, we decided to kick back and retire. But don't think we're just lounging around! Our "Retirement Gig" involves seeking out sad, beaten-up homes, giving them a total makeover, and renting them out to fresh-faced families. When we're not busy playing host to our friends and relatives who are discovering the wonders of Tennessee, we're off having a blast. We soar through the skies in nifty little planes, tear up the streets in muscle cars, and spend hours on the water, reveling in each other's company. Our entire clan still resides in California, including our beautiful daughter and her amazing hubby, who've blessed us with three awesome grandkids. We've also got two rockstar sisters and their families, not to mention our precious moms. And let's not forget about our fur baby, Titus! If you ever cross paths with him, be prepared to fall head over paws. But remember, it's our little secret—he's convinced he's on a covert mission!
