The house is located in the small coastal town of Slano 27 km northwest of Dubrovnik. It's a small place located in the bay of the same name. It has a marina, beaches, several restaurants, cafe bars, grocery stores, and two hotels. Recreational cycle paths and footpaths are being extended across the idyllic landscape. Bicycles, scooters, water sport equipment and small boats can be rented in the village.
The house consists of an open plan ground floor with completely equipped kitchen, dining room and living area leading out to an inviting terrace in the middle of an olive grove. On the ground floor there are two bedrooms, one bathroom and one extra toilette. The 1st floor features three bedrooms and one bathroom. One bedroom is with balcony. Each room has air condition. The house is tastefully furnished throughout. The property includes a big parking area, WIFI, cable TV, a washing machine, and a barbecue grill.

Alles Perfekt!

Die Unterkunft ist wunderschön. Besonders toll ist die kurze Entfernung zum Meer. Kate und ihr Mann Mario sind sehr herzliche Gastgeber, welche immer zur Hilfe bereitstanden. Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in Slano!

Lovely house

Just a 2 minute walk to the beach but you re in your very own private olive grove. Kate was very good at ensuring our stay in Slano was as pleasant as could be, including welcoming drinks and homemade apple cake. Would be more than happy to stay here again .

Slano Splendid Hideaway

Our accommodation in Slano was a wonderful experience. The village had everything we required and the location was very central to the varies sightseeing locations. Kate and Mario were very informative and suggested bike hire, boating etc. A most enjoyable holiday.

Härlig vecka i Kroatien 2019 vecka31

Fint hus bra läge. Kate jätte trevlig mysigt välkomnande hade bakat kaka till oss. Passa kranen i köket Går åt fel håll risk för att bränna sig. Rent fint! AC skulle behövas även i övervåningen. Väldigt varmt där fanns 2st Fläktar skulle behövas en till det var 3 sovrum uppe. Vackra Slano.

Gemütliches Ferienhaus für einen Familienurlaub

Ich habe mit meiner Familie (6 Erwachsene, 2 Kinder) in dem Haus eine wunderschöne Urlaubswoche Ende Mai verbracht. Das Haus ist für so eine große Familie sehr gut geeignet. viel Platz, alles vorhanden was man braucht, schön viel Platz rings um das Haus und Kate als supernette Vermieterin. Schon in der Vorbetreitung hatten wir viel Kontakt und sie hat uns gute Ratschläge erteilt. Am Anreisetag empfing sie uns mit einem frisch gebackenen Apfelkuchen, im Haus standen frische Blumen und im Kühlschrank waren kalte Getränke. Was mir sehr positiv auffiel - im Haus waren sämtliche Verbrauchsmaterialien (Spülmittel, Tabs für die Spülmaschine, Alufolie, Gewürze, Küchenrolle, Seife, Toilettenpapier, Mückenschutz) vorhanden. Wir machen jedes Jahr Urlaub in Ferienhäusern aber das ist echt die Ausnahme. Danke, Kate, wir werden dich so oft es geht weiterempfehlen. Das einzige was nicht gepasst hat, war das Wetter Ende Mai ungewöhnlich kalt und verregnet. Aber da kann keiner was dafür. Slano ist ein sehr empfehlenswerter, noch nicht so touristischer Ort, mit Bäcker, kleinen Lebensmittelgeschäften, Kinderspielplatz und schönen Gaststätten. Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen. Da s

I was born in Slano and lived in Dubrovnik area all my life. I worked in tourism all my life. Now I am retired and I live in a nearby village.

Why they chose this property

My family built the house in the '80s . We loved the location because it was calm and peaceful and at the same time very close to the beach and center of the town. We used to spend our summer vacations there. Unfortunately during the war in the 90's our house was almost completely destroyed so in the beginning of 2001 we started to renovate the house and finished it 2002.
