Our village is a old saxon village, poor and small, only 165 houses, established in 16 century. It is establish in a dead end of a valley strategically to not be seen by historical enemies. Here the winters are hard, taking over 5 months, the summers are short and intense, and autumns spectacular in colour plays. Because of our isolated location we have silence and authentically patriarchal Romanian village atmosphere.
The property is constituted from 2 houses and 1 living room.
First house is 300 years old, builded from stone, 2 rooms, a bedroom with double king bed and a bathroom with sower and toilet, hand painted furniture and wood fireplace for heating, restored after 2 years of work to be in accordance with original structure and fabrics.
Second house have 2 apartments of 2 bedrooms with king beds and 2 bathrooms with sower and toilet. Heating with wood central fireplace. Into the apartment exist a functional bread oven were you can make in ancient way your own bread.
The living room is a generous part of the property 70 square mt, with complete equipped kitchen (stove, oven, dishwashing machine, freezer, toaster, coffee filter machine, expresso machine) , 2 big table and 12 seats, a generous sofa for select rest corner, a big library with over 600 books, stereo HiFi, big Tv Plasma, free WiFi, cable Tv and Guitar, bathroom with toilet, washing and drying machines.
In central yard a 5,3 per 2,8 mt swimming pool 1,4 mt deep wait for summer day and night water distraction. In the back yard, a nice and big fireplace wait to have beautiful nights like in camping side.
The property have over 10.000 square mt, and many fruit trees you can eat etiologic fruits, here the wild deers come often in the morning from the forest. We are situated in the end of the road , surrounded by mountains and forests, nice small river flow in the valley with a nice 4 mt high waterfall. In the front yard a nice barbecue place wait for you to prepare in your own way the meet or to learn make a special pot meal of Romania - "ceaun".
The location is perfect for families with kids, or groups of friends. Your kids can swinging on the trees, can play on treehouse, or can play indoor on PlayStation after a good swim in the summer or a nice sleight session in backyard in the winter.
What you can do around us? Wow! lot of thinks ! Maybe first is to get relax, to learn what quiet is, to swim between mountains, to make travels into endless forest, to get your bike and find best routs, on and off road car trials, visit castles of Calnic (10km) and Alba Iulia (28 km), visit Sibiu (52 km), to cross mountains trough famous Transalpina 140 km road, to see the Swiss face of Romania. In winter time you can go skiing in Paltinis (35 km) were you have 9 km slopes or can go to Surianu (75 km) were you gat 5 km of slopes.
You can exercise your cooking skills daily, we can organise catering for you or you can go to closest restaurants (8 km or 11 km).
