About this property

VILLA JUCANYA 2, *100% SANITIZED*

Villa Jucanya 2, is the name of the second property of "Villas Jucanya", a complex of 5 Villas located in front of one of the most beautiful lakes in the world, "LAGO DE ATITLAN", 15 minutes from the center of Panajachel (walking) and 5 min by car. Our Manager Ana Lynch, can call you a TukTuk (three wheels taxi) they charge between Q 5.00 (GQT) and Q 10.00 (GQT) depending on time.

Lake Atitlan is a place to rest with family or friends, with a big beautiful garden, 30 meters distance from the lake shore and surrounded by 3 volcanoes, mountains and lots of vegetation.

The House is located in a residential area in the village of Panajachel, very close to everything. It is very easily reached by car or bus. In the village of Panajachel, there are many typical shops, international restaurants, pharmacies, supermarkets and everything you need to enjoy an excellent holiday or vacation.

Near the village of Panajachel, there are many other villages to know around the lake, which can be visited by boat, which can be taken in front of Casa Jucanya. It is worth mentioning that the towns around the lake have the names of some of Jesus' apostles (San Pedro, San Lucas, Santiago).

The busiest and most built-up lakeside settlement, Panajachel ('Pana' to pretty much the entire country) has developed haphazardly and, some say, in a less-than-beautiful way. Strolling the main street, Calle Santander, crammed with cybercafes, travel agencies, handicraft hawkers and rowdy bars, dodging noisome tuk-tuks all the way, you may be forgiven for supposing this paradise lost.

Several different cultures mingle on Panajachel's streets. Ladinos (people of mixed indigenous and European heritage) and other expats control the tourist industry. The Kaqchiquel and Tz'utujil Maya from surrounding villages come to sell their handicrafts to tourists.

This mix makes Pana a curiously cosmopolitan crossroads in an otherwise remote, rural vicinity. All of this makes for a convenient transition into the Atitlán universe – but to truly experience the beauty of the lake, most travelers venture onward soon after arrival.

IMPORTANTE NOTE: WE CHARGE BY NUMBER OF GUESTS. PLACE THE CORRECT NUMBER OF GUESTS BEFORE SENDING YOUR BOOKING. CHILDREN 2 YEARS OLD PAY AS ADULTS.

Third time is a charm
I've been here three times. That should be a good sign. I love the location because it is far enough away from town to not hear the evening music from the clubs. Close enough to walk if the river is not running too fast. There's a foot bridge to cross. Ther are plenty of Tuk-tuks to get you into town for Q5 or Q10 depending on the driver. One thing to mention is someone is making a quick buck... I had the office get us a boat for the day on the lake. If had bargained with one of the many boat captains right outside the gate,I would have paid half as much. HALF. That's a big difference. There are some things in the casitas that are starting to show its wear. Blinds, furniture but I will return again because of the crew that is so nice. The gardner is such a good guy. For all of us who "need" WiFi it's very good too. Thank you for allowing me to stay with you again.

My family and I have decided to share our property with other families who want to travel to Guatemala and know the beauty of Lake Atitlan in Panajachel, Solola, Guatemala...

With my family we have really enjoyed this property facing the Lake and we have many extraordinary memories lived in this beautiful place.
You have to come and know this amazing place !!

Why they chose this property

This Villa has been constructed with the idea of a special place for family recreation. The Villa is comfortable, spacious and with a beautiful garden.

From the living room you have a wonderful view of the garden and Lake Atitlan as well as a breathtaking view of the volcanoes around the Lake. "Truly Awesome"

What makes this property unique

Staying with us, you will have the benefits of a residential place within the village of Panajachel, outside the noise of the town center but very close to everything.
A very safe place to stay !!!
