About Lilly Rios
I am the daughter of immigrants, who came to the United States to make a better life for themselves and to help my widowed grandmother. I was born in Chicago and grew up in Wrigleyville on the Northside of Chicago which is a vibrant and diversified neighborhood. I have a wonderful husband and an incredible daughter and have lived in our home for almost three decades. For 15 years, I was honored to teach students Interior Design and Architecture at a Design College in Chicago. I love to travel to other countries and experience their culture, language and foods. My favorite cities so far, Amsterdam, Paris, Mexico City and Antwerp. I hope to continue travels to far-off distant lands. I used a home hosting website for my second trip to Paris, and really preferred it to staying in a hotel. It is my primary reason for hosting on HomeAway. I want guests to have the ability to experience Chicago and its unique neighborhoods in a home setting. I enjoy meeting people from different states, countries and from diverse cultures. My favorite foods are enjoyed in the company of my family and dear friends: Roasted Chicken, Margherita style thin-crust Pizza, Grilled vegetables, a nicely poached or grilled Fish, Thai, Vietnamese and Italian food. My favorite books: “To Kill a Mockingbird”, “Music for Chameleons” and the “Harry Potter” series. My favorite music: Bach’s “Concerto for Two Violins in D minor”, Debussy’s “Claire de Lune”, Puccini’s “Nessun Dorma”, Kern & Field’s “The Way You Look Tonight”, Pink Floyd’s “Another Brick in the Wall”, “Hey You” and “Money”, Beatles’ “Hey Jude”, Marc Anthony’s “El Cantante”, Adele’s “21” album and Sam Smith’s “In the Lonely Hour”. My life motto: “Always treat people as you would like to be treated.”

Boulevard Place is Wonderful
Boulevard Place exceeded our expectations as home base on a visit to family in the area. The apartment is lovely, roomy and well appointed. We enjoyed each space, including the deck. The location was central for our needs without a car. Lilly was professional and friendly. Boulevard Place deserves your consideration.
If you’re looking for a 3BR/2BA apartment on the north side, you can’t do any better than Lilly & Italo’s place. It’s very clean, spacious, quiet, and is in a great location for walking to dining/grocery store/606 Bloomingdale trail and driving to Wrigley/Second City/Lincoln Park/downtown and really anything on the north side. It has a dedicated off-street parking. The owners, who live downstairs of this 2nd floor apartment (you get the whole floor) are lovely and very accommodating to their guests. Don’t miss out!
Logan Square gem!
This apartment exceeded all expectations! Beautifully furnished, attention to detail and a lovely host. I didn’t want to leave and will definitely be back.
Fantastic location, host and flat.
Lilly was very welcoming. The flat was clean and well stocked. The location is convenient to everything. I would recommend this location to anyone.
Great location, beautiful apartment, and welcoming hostess!
After a very delayed flight, we arrived almost 7 hours later than expected. Well after 1am, Lilly was there to greet us, helping us up the stairs with our luggage and giving us a quick tour of the place. After a very quick night's sleep, we woke to find the sweetest apartment with everything we could have needed. A thoughtful snack basket was left for us, which came in very handy on our daily excursions with our 7 year old son! Lilly gave us several recommendations of where to go and what to eat, even offering at one point to drive us to the market for groceries...we were so impressed with her kindness. The beds were comfy (the bedding smelled like heaven), the house was spotless, and the shower was like one you'd take in a spa. There was no need for us to bring body wash/shampoo/conditioner because Lilly provided all of that.
Everything that we wanted to do was a quick Uber ride away, and the L train is conveniently located a couple blocks up the road. We headed to downtown several times, Wrigleyville, Lincoln Park, Navy Pier, and took a tour of Soldier Field. At the end of some long days, it was great to come back to such a beautiful and comfortable place. Logan Square has some great spots within walking distance, and Bang! Bang! Pies and Revolution Brewery were our favorites.
We had tickets to attend a Cubs/Angels game, but it got snowed out! While we were disappointed about missing the game, we made the most of it and thoroughly fell in love with Chicago and Boulevard Place at the 606. We highly recommend staying here, and we look forward to returning. All of us commented several times throughout the trip about how much we loved the house and how we would definitely stay there again. For families looking to enjoy the city, this is the place for you. We truly could not have asked for more, and we are grateful to Lilly for making our stay so wonderful! We made memories here that will last us a lifetime!
Feels like home but cleaner!
This home was awesome! Super clean, comfortable, quiet, and lots of amenities including snacks, water, and even rubber ducks for the kids! When we come back to Chicago we will definitely want to stay here again!!
