3 bedroom detached house, sleeps 6, private enclosed garden & pet friendly.

Plas Arfon cottage benefits from a large open plan lounge with dining area fitted with beautiful oak furniture, stunning sea views over Conwy bay towards Anglesey & the Irish sea. We have a fenced off child friendly rear garden. We can also supply baby gear including baby gates and high chair at no extra charge.

Large ground floor master bedroom with a 'super king' double bed (6ft), en-suite shower, WC & wash basin. Level access once inside the cottage. Suitable for elderly or infirm. Two further bedrooms upstairs, 1 twin & 1 double . The front upstairs bedroom has a balcony with amazing views out to sea & a fold up bed is available for an extra child. Further bathroom upstairs, bath, shower, & WC. A private 'sun trap' rear garden & front garden.

5 min drive from Blue Flag beaches. Historic Conwy with its medieval Castle, quaint streets and many tourist attractions is just 3 miles away. LLandudno with it's Victorian promenade & seaside facilities is only 5 miles away. Perfect for walking & hiking with Snowdonia National park nearby. Only a few minutes drive from major resorts.

There are several restaurants nearby & our own 4 star AA & Visit Wales 4 star Coastal Dining Inn is just next door. Free WIFI throughout the cottage.

Sunsets over the bay of Conwy: The front Mediterranean style garden overlooks the sea & is private so guests can sit out in the evening & watch the most amazing sunsets over the bay of Conwy & Puffin Island.

The rear garden is a real summer sun trap & has lovely views to the mountains behind & the sea in front. It is private & sheltered & has a BBQ for guests use on those evenings that make a holiday special. Outdoor furniture is provided.

Within walking distance are sandy 'Blue Flag' beaches with activities going on throughout the year. Penmaenmawr sailing club has activities and sailing courses for those with a more active nature.

The cottage is a hop, skip and a jump to The Gladstone, our 4 star AA & Visit Wales 4 star family run, award winning coastal dining Inn with boutique style letting rooms. With several CAMRA awards & the 'Cask Marque' for our cask ales, guests can experience modern and traditional cuisine overlooking the stunning Conwy Bay.

WiFi is available free of charge throughout the cottage.

Guests of the cottage receive a 10% discount for meals at The Gladstone.

Guests can also book for a full cooked breakfast at the Gladstone Please book by 6pm the night before..

For a change of scenery, guests can also eat at our other gastro pub, the Castle View in Deganwy LL31 9TH. Just across the river from Conwy, about 10 minutes drive from the cottage, the Castle View overlooks the Conwy estuary, with views to Conwy Castle and Conwy Marina. Guests also receive a 10% discount on all meals served at the Castle View.

If you’re shopping or sightseeing in Conwy, pop down to Conway quay, through the Castle walls and you’ll find our own quayside pub the Liverpool Arms. The smallest and oldest pub in Conwy right on the harbour. Sit and take the weight off whilst having a drink enjoying the fabulous view over the Conway river with the beach only a pebbles throw away. We don’t do food but we have a great range of cask ales and beers, together with a large choice of specialty gins and wines.

Plas Arfon Cottage is a family owned rental and part of our family business. The other parts are The Gladstone, our AA 4 star bar/restaurant/boutique hotel with 6 letting rooms, next door to the cottage and The Castle View in Deganwy. This is an award winning bar/restaurant serving traditional & modern food.Also the Liverpool Arms, directly on the waterfront in Conwy old town is a recent addition to the portfolio. This traditional old world tavern is the oldest and smallest pub in Conwy. Well worth a visit, after an enjoyable day's sightseeing or shopping, relax whilst taking in the river views from the outside seating area.

We have lived in and around North Wales all our lives and have been in the hospitality industry for as long as we can remember. All the children grew up in the industry and as yet can't see that would change. (until the old man retires that is!)

We purchased this property some 10 years ago to compliment our bar restaurant business next door and to take advantage of the amazing location. We spent the next 2 years converting it into a stylish 3 bedroom house with every modern convenience for visitors to enjoy.

We have found that our cottage guests enjoy having a bar and restaurant near to site and they take advantage of the facilities of the Gladstone.

We all really enjoyed our stay in the cottage. The views were the best we have probably had when we have been on holiday anywhere in the UK. It was a pleasure to eat at the dining table and to look out to the sea.

We ate at The Gladstone on Steak night and the food was excellent, we wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to people in the area.

As far as the cottage goes, there was everything in there that you could need and more than enough space to accommodate four adults and two young children. The fact that the rear garden was enclosed and secure meant that the children could go outside and we had peace of mind.

There are two further bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs. One with twin beds & one with double bed. The upstairs front bedroom is a very large double with a seating area and views from the floor to ceiling double glazed windows. Door leading on to a balcony area looking straight out to the sea, with views out to Puffin Island, Menai Straits and over to Anglesey. The garden and mountains behind can be seen from the other window in this room. The other upstairs bedroom has side views to the sea & to the mountains at the rear & overlooks the rear garden. All bedrooms are tastefully furnished and the rental cost includes all bed linen and towels. There is a travel cot at the Cottage for guests use

Great location and exactly as described.

Stayed for a 4 night break in November, plenty of space for 5 adults and pet dog. Downstairs open plan mainly and plenty of seating areas in kitchen, dining & living rooms. Kitchen is fully stocked and has all mod cons including wine coolers which we made use of! The two main bedrooms are lovely and have great sea views, the upstairs bathroom is small with a slanted roof so a little tricky in the shower but overall adequate for us. The garden area is enclosed and has plenty of seating as well so in the warmer months would be ideal for families. Overall we could not fault this property nor the staff at the Gladstone, thanks everybody for all your help and service, hoping to return in 2018.

Welcoming,comfortable,ideal location .

First impressions as we went in the property was it was ready for our arrival,being the end of October the heating was already on ,nice and warm.We liked the layout of the property,kitchen great for whatever you want to do-snacks-full meals if you like-breakfasts,all we needed was there.Nice lounge area and games books etc available.Bedrooms very nice and comfy,with 1 bedroom downstairs that suited us with ensuite,large television and very big comfy bed.Outside there is private garden and views of surrounding hills,sea views on the front,and only 5/10 minute drive into llandudno and all the shops,very handy for stocking up,would certainly visit again .Pub next door,what more do you want,staff very friendly and helpful.

Property is well maintained with spacious bedrooms, upstairs bathroom a little small not much room in the shower. Disappointed there was no towel change midweek had to wash them ourselves

Beautiful cottage, Fabulous location and stunning view of the sea.

Enjoyed every minute of our stay. Facilities in the cottage was of high standard. Sea view from the front room balcony was absolutely stunning. Size of the cottage was more then adequate for 6 adults and 1 child. Plenty of attractions within 10 to 20 minutes drive. I would recommend this cottage to anybody without a moments hesitation.

Located in an area of outstanding beauty, Snowdonia national Park is within easy reach.The historic town of Conwy is just 3 miles away & having Llandudno & Deganwy close by this is an ideal touring base for the whole area. Mount Snowdon is also within easy reach for those who wish to make use of the magnificent mountain walks in the area. There are plenty of things to keep you busy with the dry ski slope in Llandudno, riding schools & liveries, golf course within 5 minutes, lake, sea & beach fishing.

Inside the Snowdonia National Park, you can walk up into the mountains from the door.
