Great stay!
The location was excellent. Matt was excellent. We would 100% stay here again. While it is on a busy street the bedroom is in the back away from the noise. The noise didn’t bother us at all. Easy walks to everything! We highly recommend.

Perfect Location
This property was amazing. We loved the 3rd floor space. Perfect location. Walking distance to everything you could ever want to do in Charleston. We loved to come back after our day’s adventures to relax. Felt like home.

Great, except...the noise :-(
Unfortunately, I did not have a good stay at this BB. Although the owner does make one mention of “dining music” in the listing, this does not accurately reflect my experience staying here for 5 nights. The noise was, simply put, horrendous. 1. The unit is situated at a very busy intersection. The acoustics are such that all street noise rises to the third floor windows. Even conversation and laughter on the street. 2. The restaurant below the unit is a loud texmex/tequila bar called The Matador. The listing states that the restaurant “serves patrons with dining music.” I naively thought this meant sophisticated, chill music. Wrong. The restaurant is open until midnight every day of the week, and the music is upbeat hip hop. 3. On both Tuesday and Friday nights, after midnight, I had to ask restaurant staff to turn down their music, which they were loudly piping through the entire restaurant as they closed down. The unit itself is gorgeous. The location could not be better for access to Meeting and King streets. The unit is spacious with stunning east-facing windows. Gorgeous, big bathroom also. The host is very friendly, too, and was quick to reply after a brief question during check-in. He texted me when the unit was ready early, too. Ultimately I grappled with whether to leave this review, but I honestly feel like the listing and reviews underplay the noise. If you’re a light sleeper or prefer peaceful, quiet nights in, choose another option on a quieter side street.

Great location! The only downside is the music and noise from the road that goes pretty late, but the listing was clear that could happen.
