THIS IS THE PERFECT LOCATION FOR A FAMILY VACATION! Two story beach house on stilts located in Ocean Lakes Family Campground. Site #1169. Our bright and cheery beach house is a prime location for families with small children or people who do not want a long walk to the beach!
The Water Park is FREE with your stay as well as the Lazy River, Kiddie Splash Zone and Olympic size pool. All of which are open full time Memorial Day - Labor Day. Off season hours vary.
This home is smoke free and pet free.
Golf cart is NOT included with rental.
Departure cleaning service is an additional $175.
Optional linen service priced at $100 for all 4 bedrooms.
Just take 77 steps and you're toes are in the sand!! We are located only 4 houses back from the oceanfront with a nice view of the beach and ocean from the deck. If you have never experienced a vacation at Ocean Lakes Family Campground you are in for a real treat. So many choices, what should you do first? Relax on the beach, explore the Water Park, jump in the pool, get ice cream, eat at the snack bar, take a ride on a golf cart, fish in your choice of seven lakes, or you could just sit on the deck and enjoy a cool drink while looking at the ocean! All this and never leave the campground! What else could you ask for? Whatever you choose, I am sure you will enjoy making family memories that will last a lifetime!

Please note that because Ocean Lakes is a family oriented community the rental of this house is intended for families and extended families. It is NOT intended for groups of young singles under the age of 25. We thank you in advance for respecting our house.

Amazing

This was an amazing vacation. I can not say enough good things about the owner. He would respond to any questions immediately and also gave his cell number if any issues arose. The house was very clean and so close to the beach that we were able to take pictures from the porch. There were even beach toys and chairs so we didn't have to bring them on our 13 hr drive to Myrtle Beach.

Great Beach Getaway

Our family of 8 had a great time at the beach for Spring Break even though it was a bit chilly. We enjoyed the stocked home and had everything we needed! The only thing that seemed to be an issue was the water getting cold when we were all trying to take showers (we’re used to our tankless water heater!) Overall, we had plenty of space and a great view! Enjoyed playing cornhole on the deck. Thanks again!

Amazing stay at this property

The house was absolutely perfect. Aside from it’s awesome location, the house was well stocked with all the comforts that you can’t always bring with you on vacation. The cabinets were stocked with all the essentials (spices and all staple pantry items) and it was easy for us to relax and enjoy our home away from home for a week. It’s easy to tell that the home owners have their guests in mind and do all that they can to ensure that we’re comfortable and have the best stay.

Perfect Beach house

Home was very clean, stocked with essentials. A/C was great. Beds were comfortable. Russell was great at communicating with me. This was my first time renting through VRBO and this experience was great! Ocean lakes is a great family place. My family had a great time!

We reside in Murrells Inlet, SC. I grew up in NJ. My wife is originally from WV. Our son is a 911 dispatcher for the Rockland County, NY Emergency Services and our daughter, who is a speech pathologist, lives in Alaska with her husband and 2 young daughters.

Why they chose this property

Our family has vacationed in Ocean Lakes every summer since we discovered the place in 1992. Our kids loved the place and still do as adults. We would bring their bikes and when they weren't on the beach they would ride to the arcade or pool. In 2006 we purchased our beach house and are happy to give other families the chance to have the Ocean Lakes experience

What makes this property unique

We fell in love with this house because of the closeness to the beach. 77 steps! No need to drive the golf cart or look for a parking spot. The open floor plan is also an attribute.
