What makes this cottage unique

Dreamweaver is so unique as it is in the area of Chautauqua. We love the fact that it is on a quiet street.

The patio is large enough so we can have guest over and all sit outside and catch up with each other.

The fireplace in the living has so much history as it still the original fireplace bricks and all.

The loft master bedroom is so large and cozy all in one with the king size bed right up to the two closets. Enough room for both of you and your luggage.

Guestbook comments from the manager

Loved, loved, love your cottage and your gardens with the roses still blooming and the walks to the river. Loved the vineyards and even Niagara Falls at night. Everyone found the cottage cozy and comfortable. From the seniors, kids and adult children.

Thanks Kim!

Lovely!

  • 5 of 5

This cottage was perfect for our family. The space was just enough for us and our dog. Our 11 year slept on the futton sofa downstairs and my 9 year old slept on the loft pull out sofa, and my hubby & I slept on the main king size bed in the loft. The location was beautiful! I walked the dog to the park and witnessed every Sunrise & sunset that vacation week. The cottage was super clean and had absolutely everything you might need. The staff is amazing! From booking the cottage to getting immediate service for a minor repair of the toilet. We highly recommend this cottage.

An excellent place to stay, for couples with pets

  • 4 of 5

We stayed for seven days during the last week of August 2015 and would book again when we return to Niagara-on- the-Lake. We haven't stayed in a VRBO rental elsewhere in NOTL but have many years of experience renting other properties in the United States. Here's why we liked Dreamweaver and think it is good value. 1. It's a manageable size and easy to keep clean. When one stays somewhere for over a week without daily cleaning service, that's an important point. The floors are faux hardwood, easy to mop up and sweep up. We had two indoor-only cats with us so that wasn't an issue as it would be if you had dogs --- but we appreciated it. 2. It's a 20 minute walk from two bike rental places and a 5 minute walk from the tiny Lake Ontario beach in Ryerson Park. (We swam every day, walking to and from the beach along the quiet street.) And it's a 25 minute walk from "downtown": the LCBO store, the grocery store, the shops, restaurants, and Shaw Festival theatres. 3. Though close to "downtown", the cottage is situated in a village-like setting, surrounded by other modest cottages and the occasional renovated house. The area has enormous charm, is deeply quiet, and is dog- and cat-heaven: every house seems to have at least one of each. 4. Dreamweaver, unlike most other VRBO rentals, actually provides real equipment for cooks. If you want to, you can cook all of your own meals here. The knives are good; there are enough pots and pans and plates and cups and egg lifters, and so on. The outdoor grill is large, and easy to use, and as a bonus, has a pot-and-pan burner. 5. The king-size bed is excellent. So is the sitting area in the living room, from which you might watch DVDs (there is a modest selection). 6. There are two decks, a small one at the entry which gets the afternoon sun, and the main one off the dining area which gets the morning sun. We ate all our meals on the small deck at the entry because it looks into trees and flowers.

We would caution future guests about only two things: the lighting is dim and not designed for people who read. If you are a reader-in-bed or like to curl up on a sofa with a book in the evening, bring a book light to clip onto your reading material. And if you, like us, bring your cats with you, be aware there are many places into which they could disappear. We closed things up with blue painter tape!

Perfect cottage for 2

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I rented Dreamweaver over Labor Day weekend. It is so spacious and comfortable, and was a perfect place to return to after spending active days with our 5 grandchildren under 5 and their parents who were staying close by in a larger home that had a 10 person limit...we realized quickly that we loved having our own space at night, and would happily stay at Dreamweaver again on a return visit. NOTL was one of our best family holidays.

A Charming Getaway, Fantastic Location

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at Dreamweaver Cottage for 5 nights in August - 2 adults, 1 child. The cottage was spotless when we arrived, with a nice set of instructions on accessing the wifi, discount coupons, area maps etc. I personally loved the little reading nook in a sunny corner of the cottage, while my son and husband enjoyed the deck. We found the location very convenient - close to Queen Street, but tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. It is within walking distance to a small part (Ryerson Park), where we enjoyed some amazing sunsets. This was our first cottage experience and we are hoping to go back soon.

Dreamweaver Cottage rental

  • 5 of 5

Description of cottage was accurate, a wonderful location. Listing photos accurately reflected rental's appearance & amenities. Cottage was clean & well maintained. Would recommend this cottage to anyone visiting in the area. Niagara-on-the-Lake is a wonderful place to visit & stay. Shaw festival is a must see. Many wonderful places to eat. Enjoyed dinner at the Epicurean. 'Taste' is a wonderful place for lunch. Many wonderful shops. Great choice of wineries in the area. Also very close to Niagara Falls.

Dreamweaver in Niagara-on-the-Lake

  • 5 of 5

Three of us stayed at Dreamweaver during the Victoria Day Weekend and had a wonderful time! The property was bigger than we were expecting with a big kitchen and living area, good sized bathrooms and a sitting area off the loft-styled bedroom. The back deck with barbecue was also a huge bonus. The property was located on a quiet street, a short walk from the lake and short bike ride into downtown.

Tip: I recommend the 15 minute bike ride across town (and through the lovely Commons) to the River Bend Inn for a couple of bottles of wine on the patio overlooking Peller Estates.
