About this property

A fully air conditioned room awaits you with a Queen and twin beds and private hot and cold shower. Or you may opt for the ceiling fan as you enjoy our entertainment centre which is equipped with a DVD player, blu ray player, SONY PlaySstation 4 game console, IPTV - Cable TV. In addition, there is a spacious wardrobe with mirror, a retractable dry rack, a mini fridge and a private entrance.

For the shoppers and gym conscious, then The Illier's is the place - within walking distance to our famous malls - The Falls or Starlite Shopping Plaza. For the movie or party goers, close proximity, via public transport, to Movie Towne or the hub known as De' Avenue which offers a wide range of movies, pubs, restaurants and fast food outlets.
For the seasonal visitors, Carnival by the Illier's is a ten minute drive to the Oval;Queens Park Savannah and National Stadium which hosts several fetes, inclusive of the renowned Machel Monday extravaganza.
Beach lovers are 35 minutes away from one of our famous beaches - Maracas Bay and 45 minutes from our Blue flag beach Las Cuevas. Another beach close by is Macqueripe which has added attractions such as Zip Lining and Nature Parks.
Also comforting is that one of our leading pharmacies is within walking distance.
Additionally, we are within close proximity to either the ferry service which can be utilised to visit our wonderful twin island Tobago or our Water Taxi to the Southland, San Fernando . So in trini lingo"The Illier's have you covered"

We are located near a park, which comprises benches, jogging and cycling strips, cricket pitch and a football field. For a fee, one can access the lawn tennis court.

My wife, Franicsca, or Fran as she prefers to be called and I reside at the Illier's. Since Fran and I not only love to travel but entertain as well, our business gives us the opportunity to show our guests the beauty of our island as we also learn more about the customs and cultures of our visiting guests. As an extra bonus, Fran can entice our guests with true Trini culinary delights which should add fond memories of one's stay at The Illier's. As for me, I am into the physical fitness aspect of things as well as partying to ease the stress away. So Fran and I would be more than welcomed to recommend a fun night out if one should require any help in that area. Building happy, vacation memories is what it is all about at The Illier's.

Why they chose this property

One of the strongest and best reasons for residing in our property has to deal with its security factor. Whilst, one can never predict what may develop in the future, one can still feel a sense of security given the residential aspect of Westmoorings and its 24/7 security service. Even though it is not a gated community, because of its strategic location, there is no reason for non-residents to roam or loiter in the area. However, in the evenings, you do have nearby residents utilising the area for jogging, walking or cycling. And still, at most times, these visitors may alos be well known to the immediate residents of the area. It is an ideal location for retirees, the very young and even teenagers and young adults who take advantage of the lawn tennis and football facilities.

What makes this property unique

Our home is a typical, two story townhouse which, with renovations, has taken on its own unique charm. The ground floor (apart from the kitchen) has been designed with visitors in mind. Guest can enter through the back directly into the bedroom area. The room is self contained, comfortable and invites one to stay in, relax or make full use of the entertainment centre. An arched doorway leads into the living and dining room areas. Movement is easy, relaxed and guests can opt to either stay in air conditioned comfort or have use of a standing fan. All effort has been made to create that 'home away from home' ambiance. A half bath room is located in this area as well, so privacy is never an issue. As an added bonus, all windows have been pleasantly wall papered again enhancing the privacy feature of the Illier's.
