About the property

5 Bedroom (Plus Loft) 4 Bath 7200 Square Foot Luxury Home

Bring the whole crew to enjoy the beauty of Leech Lake and the Chippewa National Forest. This 7200 square foot luxury home is situated on 200 feet of Leech Lake shoreline. It has 4 traditional bedrooms, a large bunk room, a loft, and a pull out couch downstairs to provide your group with plenty of sleeping room. The main floor of this wonderful home has a huge vaulted great room with a stone fireplace and unbeatable views of the lake - an absolutely perfect place to gather the family around to trade fish stories or share a glass of wine. There's a large eat in kitchen, formal dining room and a separate casual eating area on the main floor as well. The lower level of the home has a large screen TV, pool table, wet bar, and a full weight/exercise room. The upper level has two wonderful loft areas (again with amazing views of the lake) with spacious seating areas and lots of books if you need a little time to yourself. The bunk rooms are in their own private area on the upper level as well. Outdoors there is a large deck off of the main floor and a large patio off of the lower level. The fire pit near the lake is perfect for watching the sun set as everyone gathers around to roast marshmallows and reminisce. If that's not enough to keep the crew occupied there's also a three season room with a hot tub located just off of the main floor deck. There are two covered boat slips in our harbor to keep your boat(s) during your stay. The Isle Harbor development, in which the home is located, has a playground, basketball court, sand beach, fish cleaning house, and private boat launch - all of which are available for you and your family to enjoy.

About Annie Adams

I love lakes and lake homes - in particular their almost magical ability to bring families together in a way that few other environments can. We purchased this home in the winter of 2013 with the intent of making it available to families and larger groups so they can enjoy the beauty of Leech Lake and the Chippewa National Forest together, without having to retreat to separate hotel rooms or cabins every evening.

Annie Adams purchased this lodge in 2013

Why Annie Adams chose Minnesota

Leech Lake Lodge is simply the perfect home for family gatherings and larger groups. Situated on the lightly developed northeast side of Leech Lake the home provides an 'up-north' environment unlike any other.

What makes this lodge unique

The size of the property along with all of the amenities offered both at the home itself as well as in the Isle Harbor development (pool table, hot tub, exercise room, wet bar, sand beach, basketball court, playground, private boat launch, fish cleaning house, hiking trails, covered boats slips, etc...).

Plenty of room for the extended family -- on a great lake!

  • 5 of 5

The owners were very responsive throughout the whole process. Lots of beds and elbow room. We rented a pontoon at Recreational Rentals, LLC and spent a lot of time on the water fishing, towing, even waterskiing. On the downside, no fishing off of the dock (too shallow). The fire pit and fireflies were a bonus. It was a great family experience.

Another Great and Wonderful Time at Isle Harbor!

  • 5 of 5

All who attended this years fishing trip had a terrific time again as this was our 2nd trip at this wonderful house on Leech Lake. All 12 fisherman enjoyed all sleeping and spacious living arrangements this house affords you as a large group. Plenty of space and beauty surrounds you including wonderful views of Beautiful Leech Lake. Annie and Bill are just a phone call away for any of your needs during your stay at Isle Harbor. And, of course the fishing was nothing but Terrific for All. Have recommended this location and of course to others here in the Chicago area for any large and or small groups if and when they travel to this part of Northern Minnesota. Will again book this large and spacious house for our next fishing excursion if and when all our schedules will allow! B Wagner

Wonderful large lakefront house

  • 5 of 5

This is a wonderful large house that was perfect for our family of 8 adults and 6 children. Significant positives include the hot tub, weight room, large TV room, pool/bar room, and the convenient and well appointed kitchen. The dock and lake were so handy that we did not use the sand beach. The water at the end of the dock is only about two feet deep so was perfect for wading and kayaking (we brought with us). We did not bring a boat but noted the very nice covered boat slips that are available to renters.

Having an extra refrigerator in the garage was nice to hold extra supplies since it was a bit of a trip to the supermarket. WiFi worked great. Cell coverage (ATT) was spotty in some areas of the house. Those with Verizon had no problems.

We took day trips to Walker, Bemidji and Lake Itaska and found all to be worthwhile. The men enjoyed a tour of the paper mill in Grand Rapids. All the adults enjoyed the brew pub in Bemidji and the meat/cheese shop next door.

Of course, we had the infamous Minnesota mosquitos and horse flies, but still managed to make Smores over a bonfire in the large firepit.

All in all, a great time in a wonderful house with hosts that were there to help with any questions we had.

The house was spacious, gorgeous and well maintainedz

  • 5 of 5

Our group of 21 fit easily into the house. The set up was perfect for people to be together and also to find a get away when you needed to. We really enjoyed our time and the up keep and layout of the house had a lot to do with that.

Vacation with grandkids

  • 5 of 5

This was the perfect property for our vacation with 8 grandkids in June! The house was everything advertised, roomy with many amenities. Even though the property is in a subdivision, it was very quiet and felt secluded. We rented a pontoon and used the boat slip which is very close to the house. The lake is shallow several yards out from shore which was perfect for the younger kids to kayak and play on tubes. We purchased a couple of tubes not knowing that there were already several at the house, so now there are more! We received our damage deposit back very quickly. Manager was extremely responsive from the time we first reserved the house until we left, and was very helpful in recommending fishing guide services and boat/kayak rentals. I highly recommend this property for any large group!
