A great find, easy drive to Asheville

  • 4 of 5

Great spot for a quick getaway with close friends. He condo was very clean and had everything we needed, including extra towels. The fresh coffee was a nice touch. We didn't do any cooking but the kitchen was very spacious and fully furnished. The porches being accessible from both bedrooms was fantastic...a great place to enjoy a quiet morning. The only minor complaint was that the guest bedroom got a little warm at night, no ceiling fans, but it was July after all.

Steve was a fantastic host. After I booked, he sent a note to ask a few questions about what we were looking to do in the area, and provided some food recommendations.

Definitely would recommend this to any couples or small families looking for convenient and affordable option in the Asheville area.

Nice getaway yet close to Asheville

  • 5 of 5

Loved the rental. Very cute, comfortable, and spacious. Steve made sure all our needs were met, and was readily available for anything we needed. Was very close to Asheville. Glad we stayed here since Asheville is very busy. We ate at the Glass Onion, which was very good just down the street.

Got the job done.

  • 4 of 5

Overall, the apartment had what we needed. Nice spacious living area and kitchen with all needed supplies. Deadbolt on the door wasn't working when we arrived. The place could have used a little more cleaning, which didn't make a first timer to vrbo comfortable. With 5 of us, we had to utilize the pull out sofa bed, which was not the most comfortable (could feel the bars) but an extra pad on that I think would make it nice. The biggest issue we had was that the person upstairs we could hear walking loudly. Sir stomps a lot as we called him :)

Nice location to get on/ off the highway to different parts of Asheville and ate at a nice restaurant in downtown Weaverville. Food in Asheville is so amazing. Loved the city!

Had a great weekend with my sister and mom at Steve's condo. It was well maintained, very clean and comfortable. The fresh flowers and coffee was a nice welcome. He was a great host and responded to my emails quickly.

The perfect location for Weaverville, Asheville, Mars Hill, Wolf Laurel areas

  • 5 of 5

What a perfect host. Steve was super to work with and very helpful. His VRBO is really perfect - clean, neat, with slightly eccentric decor and some of the most comfortable beds and linens ever. Safe, quiet, clean, cozy, great HVAC and water, handicap accessible, well stocked kitchen needs, and location location location. We'll be back for sure. Thank you Steve.
