Beyond the living area, is a separate bedroom with twin bunk beds perfect for families or extra guests. The bedroom also has built in storage and a small sitting area. We spent many vacations each summer at the Hotel Del and fell in love with all Coronado has to offer. We eventually bought a home here and moved full time in 2007.

June 2018 Stay
The unit is very clean and in a very convenient location. The AC units work great and help reduce any road noise. The kitchen met all our needs. The unit is very cozy and was very clean. There is a washer/dryer on site as well as an outdoor closet with many beach supplies etc... Kim replies back fast and was very easy to deal with. We were very happy with our stay and it easily met our expectations. Parking was also very simple. I would recommend staying here for sure, great value!!
Darling little vacation hideaway!
We enjoyed our stay at this beautifully maintained property. Everything is provided for your stay from beach towels to dish soap, pots/pans to an array of beach-worthy books, parking permits to restaurant recommendations. Though it's located on a busy street, we didn't find the noise to be too loud or intrusive. The space is laid out perfectly for traveling with 1-2 small kids with a separate sleeping space for the kids that can be closed off from the main room bedroom area. Easy walking distance to downtown or ferry launch. We will definitely be staying with Kim next time we are in Coronado!
Charming Apartment in Coronado
My husband and I recently stayed at this nice property for a week. The location was excellent, with the Coronado Ferry/Ferry Landing just a few blocks away, and the park, shops and restaurants near The Del Coronado a 5-10 minute walk in the opposite direction. The apartment was nicely furnished, clean, and had everything we needed for our week long vacation. The bed was extremely comfortable. We felt very at home in this cozy apartment. Note: there is some occasional road noise that can be mitigated by the air conditioning unit. The owner Kim, went out of her way to quickly answer any questions we had.
Cozy place to stay
We really enjoyed our stay at this casita. The kitchen had what we needed to cook, the beds were comfortable and as others stated, the AC blocked out any road noise. We enjoyed walking to town and we would stay here again.
4th st. Casita
We enjoyed our stay. The kitchen had everything we needed for the weekend. The location was great. It is a busy street so if you had children you would need to be careful. We rented bikes and were very close to the bayside bike trail which was beautiful. All the restaurants were delish especially Saiko Sushi. The ferry to the convention center was convenient. All in all it was a very comfortable place to spend the weekend. The only very critical thing I would say is that there was not enough casual seating.
But everything else was perfect.

Kim was very easy to reach and coorespond with. She was super quick on answering my eamils or text messages. This place is cute and cozy and at the great location, 3 minutes away (by car) from the beach. It is on the very busy street so traffic noise might be a challenge in the early morning if you are light sleeper. If you have the little kids you need to be very careful because the busy streets are very close to the entrance gate. Cleanless of the place was the issue when we arrived but after we notified Kim she responded in no time and took care of it. Overall it was a nice excperience. Thank you Kim.
