About this property

Capitol Island is the epitome of quintessential Maine! Capitol with a Sea cottage is situated just above the docks at the island marina and community house. It's a short walk from a sandy beach. A little bit further down the small island is the tennis court, a half-court for basketball and swing sets. Continue on to the end to find "Back Beach" and another dock. This island backdrop not only makes for picture-perfect views but for memories that will stay with you for a lifetime.

The cottage is a typical Maine island-style cottage. Upstairs bedrooms have traditional open ceilings. Water on both sides of the cottage with a sunny large deck and a covered front porch.
Courtesy quiet hours start at 10 p.m. per local ordinance.

Quaint

Great stay for us! However, this cottage is rustic and in need of updates, as well as a good declutter/ thorough cleaning. Probably par for an older cottage on the water. But property management was wonderful and quite responsive with questions/ problems.

Lovely location and cottage

We stayed in August with our children and had a marvelous time. Lots to explore on this little island and the Boothbay Harbor area too.
