Visit the Sea Lab, the Audubon Bird Sanctuary, charter a fresh or saltwater fishing trip at the Marina, or take a ferry ride across Mobile Bay to Gulf Shores for shopping at the outlets in Foley.
Almost the whole island is a bird sanctuary, during the Spring and Fall you can see many different birds on their migratory trips. You can ride bikes on the bike trails which cover most of the island via s a 7-mile long Bike Trail that passes directly in front of the resort. Bike/scooter rentals are a short walk from the complex.
Go boating & fishing; rentals are available at the marina for boats, fishing or site seeing charters, as well as water sports. Let the kids go crabbing at night on the beach with their flashlights - they'll love it!
