Outstanding Property
What a fantastic apartment overlooking the river Kent. Great thought & time has been taken to make your stay comfortable & memorable and ideally situated near the town centre. We’ll definitely be back.

A beautiful and relaxing apartment!
We had a wonderful time at the apartment in Kendal. It is as beautiful and peaceful as shown in the pictures. There were four adults traveling and both couples had their own very nice bathroom and the washer and dryer was a plus. The views from the deck are amazing! The apartment location is a very easy walk to the restaurants and sights in Kendal. It is a great base for touring the Lake District. It does tend to book up so book early for you vacation. Paul was so helpful and friendly. Just a phone call away and he was there, We would stay here again in a heart beat.

Fantastic
Fantastic apartment nice and quite but just a few minutes walk into town.the apartment was lovely and clean and had all you needed for a self catering holiday, the owners provided exellent customer service and even called the night we arrived to see if everything was ok. We would recommend this property. And hope it's not to long before we return. Thank you both and good luck for the future. Ivor @ Carole Hutchins

Absolutely perfect !
My husband and I had a wonderful break in this gorgeous apartment. It was very comfortable, spotlessly clean and had everything you could possibly wish for. Sitting in very comfy chairs on the spacious balcony in the sunshine, sheltered from the breeze, overlooking the Kent river was lovely. I must mention the bed in the master bedroom - we have never felt such a comfortable bed in any holiday home or hotel we have visited! It was total bliss. I didn't want to leave it !!!! Communication with the owner was excellent. Paul went out of his way to help and even sent me information I requested after returning home! I really appreciated that. This is definitely an apartment that we would return to!

About the host

Hosted by Paul Johnson

Host profile image
Owners Paul and Becky Johnson have lived in Kendal for 20 years. They enjoy the outdoors and everything the Lake District has to offer, and have two children who love to sail on Windermere.

Why they chose this property

The property enjoys a very peaceful location on the river, midway between two of Kendal's famous bridges. Being a first floor property, it is also quite sheltered and enjoys greater proximity to the river - perfect for guests who enjoy birdwatching or, if they're lucky, trying to spot an otter!

What makes this property unique

The apartment is very centrally located. It comes with its own dedicated parking space for those travelling by car, but is also very well connected to public transport with bus, coach and train stations all just a short walk away. There is also a national car rental company (Enterprise) only a short walk away for those who wish to hire a car in the area.
