Overview

About the property

3 Bedroom, 3 Bathroom (Sleeps up to 6)

Our beautiful lodge is a 3 bedroom and 3 bath plus 1,000 sq. ft. living area located inside our beautifully renovated Colorado barn. Note: This is a locked off portion of the barn (listing #403048).

Full of windows and light, the view is stunning, taking in a pastoral setting of our ranch with long-distance views of Pikes Peak, the Sangre de Cristos and the Collegiates.

The Lodge is a very private setting, located at the rear of the barn, and comes with every comfort you will need: down duvets on each of the queen beds, a fully stocked kitchen with all the amenities to make this the ideal venue for your vacation. Oil paintings and creative artwork are displayed throughout the lodge with comfortable seating in the living room.

The Lodge has a wonderful jetted hot-tub steps away from the living room. We have a covered patio for outdoor dinners and early morning coffee. An outside patio has a table and chairs for your enjoyment.

Guests do not have access to the entire barn but do have access to the outdoor hot tub, surrounding patio with views and the entire 35 acre ranch to enjoy! We have a trail with benches that goes through the entire property where you can see fox, deer and elk. Bird watching is ideal with our bluebird houses which are abundant on the ranch. We rent the entire barn, The Inn, through VRBO Listing #403048.

The Lodge is not available for children under the age of 8. However, our two cabins on the property are perfect for a young family: Eagle's Nest Cabin (VRBO #23402), Antlers Cabin (VRBO #23400.)

For cool evenings, we have an outdoor fire pit at the summit of our ranch with chairs where you can build a bonfire and stare at the Milky Way on clear nights.

The ranch is located 45 min. - 1 hr. drive from Colorado Springs, and 25 minutes from Woodland Park, where there is an abundance of restaurants, shopping, hospital, and Walmart.

In Divide, 15 minutes away, there are three fantastic restaurants including an Irish Pub with amazing pizza, and a popular BBQ stand with mouth-watering brisket. Venture Food's grocery store can serve any immediate grocery need.

RATES: $205 per night for use of all 3 bedrooms. If you are only needing one or two bedrooms, we can offer you a discount on the nightly rate and also the cleaning fee. Summer rates are $20 more per night.

SPECIAL: Stay 6 nights, get the 7th night FREE!

A NO-SMOKING (INSIDE AND ON THE GROUNDS) AND NO PET POLICY IS IN PLACE.

About Sarah Bedford

Owned and operated by Potter's Inn, a non-profit ministry dedicated to spiritual formation and soul care for leaders.

We will respond to your inquiries on weekdays during business hours. Thanks for your patience.

Sarah Bedford purchased this barn in 2006

Why Sarah Bedford chose South Central Colorado

Steve and Gwen Smith, Founders and Directors of Potter's Inn selected this property in 2006 because it was the most beautiful property they had ever seen. It is surrounded by three mountain ranges and in the back yard of Pikes Peak. It has a cozy, cocoon-like feel with a very peaceful setting of Colorado beauty.

What makes this barn unique

We enjoy snow shoeing in the winter, hiking in the summer. It is so quiet here and we love to watch the wildlife around us, interacting with us.

Very peaceful Experience

  • 4 of 5

First off, it is important to point out this is a three-plex. It is not clear from the description. There was no one else staying here, so it was fine. Had there been other people staying with us this review would be a 1 star review.

The hot tub worked great and had an awesome view. the accommodations are very nice, although if you plan on cooking there is not much of a kitchen. There is a gas grill but it is not great. Fire pit is amazing and wood is provided.

Direct TV is the cable and they have the MLS package so we were able to watch Sporting KC whoop Chicago, so that was a bonus.

Overall a very peaceful, extremely rural, great please to stay that's within easy driving distance of many very cool things to do.

Wonderful Stay at Potters Inn! Highly Reccomend

  • 5 of 5

We stayed in The Lodge and it was incredible. Very nicely decorated and felt homey. Loved the private rooms and common area. The views were spectacular and the hot tub was the best perk! Great hiking on property!

Personal soul care

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I arrived on a frosty day to celebrate our 50+ wedding anniversary and to deepen our personal soul care at the Lodge at Potter's Inn. Sarah B. had walked me through on-line registration, and all the details turned out just as she promised. We had quiet and very comfortable accommodations with all the cooking amenities one could expect. As it so happened, we were the only occupants of the Lodge for those three days, but it could certainly house many more people. Great time with the LORD!
